                                                                                    ~~~CLARITY~~~
        I woke up feeling aggravated, tired from spending all night studying and glazing over the material for our new forensics science class.  I rolled out of the sheets and looked around trying to find my sweats to put on. Stepping into the right leg I slipped and hit my head on the bed frame. "Sh*t.." I muttered while slipping them on. As I was standing up and glancing out the window a flash of a moving truck pulling into Brittany's house and caught my eye.
"CLARITY, HONEY BUNCHES!" I flinched as my mom busted into my room. "THE MORTS ARE MOVING TODAY, YOU BETTER GO SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR FRIEND. SHE'S SO SWEET! I JUST-"
"Could you be any louder?" I said annoyed  "I just woke up, and I'm heading over right now." Frustrated, I pushed her out of the way and headed down the hall to the bathroom. I pulled my dirty blonde hair out of my face into a messy bun. I pushed some loose strands behind my ears and washed my face. All of a sudden there was a loud banging noise followed by rapid knocking.
"Clarity hurry I'm going to be late to work!" My annoying older brother, Callum, yelled through the door.
"I'm going, just give me a sec!" I shouted back.
"You're just getting ready for the boy moving in across the street!" He shouted irritated.
"I'm not even. I didn't even know there was a boy moving in!" I swung the door open and glared at him.
"Whatever." He pushed me out and slammed the door.
I pushed my slippers on and tromped across the front yard into Brittany's lawn.
"Such a shame you're moving Brittany." I said with a sarcastic tone shooting a dirty look at her. She turned around and my stomach lurched. She had to be the worst person I had met in my 17 years, she had lip fillers that she claimed were natural and bleach dyed hair, so damaged that looked like burnt ramen noodles, and pencil thin eyebrows showing a shocked expression. She wears revealing clothes, and you can see this awful thong shaped tan line.
She just rolled her eyes and got into the truck making a  high pitched 'Hmph' noise. I turned around to look at my overly optimistic mom who was giving me a supportive thumbs up and smile,  then shrugged my shoulders. I started heading back across the street when a car pulled up and a boy got out with a stack of boxes. A box  tumbled out of his hands so I walked over and placed it back on top.
"Oh sh*t sorry!" He set down the boxes and smiled at me.
"It's whatever." I said lamely as I checked him out.  He had hazel eyes, and dirty blonde brownish hair, tied off with a bandanna.
"My name is Ashton nice to meet you." He looked at me expectantly. "Yours?"
"Ashton...Oh wait, sorry, I didn't mean- It's Clarity" I blushed and smiled back awkwardly.
"Oh you must be Callum's sister, he told me about you."
"Oh yeah you guys like played together once or something right?" I questioned.
"Yeah at that one gig in LA. I used to live there"
"Oh nice, well see you later I guess." I said boringly. I don't know why I always sound bland. Note to self, work on being more interesting.
