Chapter Nine

Ryan's P.O.V.

  I sat beside Bay in the hospital. There was some good news and bad news. I really hope she wakes up soon because this is very serious. I laid my head on the bed and held her hand slowly drifting off to sleep. *An hour or so later* "Ryan.." Bay barely got out. "Baby??" I sat up quickly moving closer to her, kissing all over her face. A small smile played on her lips. I leaned down and softly kissed her. "Baby.... Bell is pregnant." Bay didn't look all that surprised. In fact she looked like she knew. "That's great." Bay whispered slowly drifting back to sleep. "Bay..." I sighed. I looked at her discolored skin. Her step dad was here. It was part of the game, 3 dares to go.

Bella's P.O.V.

  Me and Nate found out I am pregnant. I am super excited but something bad happened. Dare number 3 Let our step dad come to visit her while she's out cold. He beat the shit out of her. She's covered in dark purple bruises and I found hickies all over her collar bone. I think he raped her again. I think he found out the news. The stuff that crushed Ryan. The thing thats kept Bay asleep for so long. She miscarried. Right after he left (our step dad)  they found out she was drugged with something to kill the baby. Before he raped her. There is a hunt for him but it doesn't matter. Ryan and her already lost their child. Which was dare #4, to lose a child. It's a cruel dare. Apparently after she's healed, they want her to go bungy jumping. It doesn't sound bad, but she's terrified of heights. Knowing these people they'll cut the cord. I walked into the room seeing Ryan laying on the bed beside her holding her to him. He didn't sleep for the first couple of days. You can see the bags under his eyes and the hurt he went through. He feels he's failed her. I saw Bay stir. She's been in and out of consciousness. "Ryan." She smiled faintly and then grimanced. "Bay.." he kissed her forehead his eyes still shut. "It hurts..." she choked out, starting to cry. His eyes shot open. "Get a nurse!" He yelled out to me and I rushed to grab a nurse. "Ma'am its my sister she got and a car crash and somethings wrong." The nurse immediately followed me. Bay was curled up screaming. "What happened?!" The nurse yelled trying to calm Bay along with Ryan. "Ryan!" Bay sobbed. Then she just laid still. Motionless. Quiet. A look of pain, hurt, and the need of help across her face. "Bay.." Ryan sobbed shaking her. "Doctor!" The nurse yelled out and Bay was rushed out of the room. Ryan fell to the floor. "It's all my fault. Shouldn't have taken her to that party. She's dying because  of me. DYING." He sobbed, his shoulders shaking violently while he took short breathes. "Ryan calm down." I walked over hugging him. "Just keep faith." He hugged me quickly composing himself. "I want you and Bay to come live with me." He said. I could tell there was no room to negotiate. "Okay." I said hugging him back. "I love her Bell. I really do." He said getting up slowly then helping me up. "She'll be fine. She's a fighter." I hope.
