I get my things and head to the basement. This time I'm ready for whatever comes at me. Flashlight in my hand and phone in the other. I open the same door, and I enter the icy room once more. I search the walls for the hole, which will be my key to the room. After a 5 minutes search I get my hand on this hole painted in semi transparent blue. I press it and I find myself turning into the other room again. How much time am I going to get to do this? This time the light doesn't blind me and I can make out a room filled golden coloured walls. In the center back of the room is two columns where plants have grown onto them upwards. In the middle is a large box and a bit higher a tablet. I can make out the shape of very light blue/greenish turquoise ball. Under is an old journal. I feel my body dragged to the mystifying ball of energy. I never thought of myself as a risk taker, but here I am getting ready to touch the undiscovered energy. I slowly touch it with my index and I feel its power going threw my veins. I feel power and strength rushing in my blood and my eyes flash. The flash in my eyes leaves and I can distinguish many writing on the walls. Almost as if, this room was being protected from the outside mysteries. Protected from people... what if this is what Brandon was looking for? I feel sick of the thought of being betrayed by my beliefs. I decide to pick the old journal up and open the first page.
Hello,
If you read this you must have found the hidden temple of the light. As it must be, to open this you have to one of ours, by blood or by energy. Before my death I left the energy in a safe place guarded from darkness. I was in a fight against they for 30 years. This place can't be found. From now you will disappear. Leave your loved ones. You may not worry, as you protector shall find you under a number of days. Whatever you do protect the light. The temptation to tell someone will overcome you but your mouth cannot open a word on this subject.
To do so you will find enough weapons in the box bellow. You will find a necklace; it shall bring you back here whenever you need to. Before you die please return the light where it belongs. If you are going to fight, take in consideration that everyone could be your enemy. They will watch your every step, and one day the WILL get you. Run. Fight. Die
Good luck,
Harrister St-Vingo.
Feeling the power wasn't enough, now I have the weight of being a protector of some stupid crappy light. I decide to take a sneak peak at the box. I lift the top of the wooden bow and gaze at the armoury hidden inside. Knives and guns are not to be missed. I decide to skip to the point where I get the necklace. I find a small box seemed to be sealed by a spell and open it with no problem. I take the necklace and examine it. A golden chain holds a blue diamond the size of a small grape. I grip the diamond and feel a burn on my left wrist. I look and see a small black tattoo in the shape on a small pentagram a circle. I attach the necklace to my neck and decide to take one of the smallest knives that come with a small knife holder decorated with rubies and diamonds. I decide to leave the journal here to make sure I don't lose it. I press the exit button and silently get back to my bed.
This morning my alarm didn't go off. I woke up early and got ready. I decided to ditch the girlish good and go a bit more risk taker style. Black leather jeans, a black shirt, and a black leather jacket. I went with charcoal black eyeliner and mascara once again. Not forgetting my black secret wedges boots. I leave early with my new knife hidden under my jacket. I feel my necklace glowing and start walking a bit faster. This morning I don't see Brandon at the lockers so I head back to the windows to catch a glimpse of my new look.
People stare as I walk. I maybe went a bit too much gothic. I enter the bathroom. This girl is the putting mascara. She turns her head and looks at me in the face. She hurries and outs the mascara back in her purse and steps out of the bathroom in a flash. I look in the mirror and I see my eyes glowing with a distracting blue just like Brandon's eyes. I jump back a few steps and race out the bathroom. Guess whom I bump into? And yes you guessed right. Brandon. I keep my eyes down so I don't have to go through a questionnaire on my eyes.
