Chapter 7

Issy pulled himself away from Jayde slowly.

"That was my first kiss, Issy," Jayde said shyly while blushing.

"It was mine, too," Issy said smiling.

"Wanna continue where we left out just now?" Issy asked, beaming at Jayde.

"Sure," Jayde answered with a smile, pulling Issy towards the dancefloor.

And they danced the night away, this time as a couple. The crowd surrounded them, but they were immersed in their own world, which only consisted of the two of them.

Issy glanced at his phone, it was 11pm. He's sitting with all his friends now, all with their partners, except for Hector, who had just sent Kaede back to the girls' dorm.

"So how did things go? Mine was great," Issy asked everyone as he looked at Jayde while holding her hand.

Jax and Johnny nodded absent-mindedly while all the others muttered a reply.

All of their confession had gone down successfully, none of them had been rejected.

Issy with Jayde.
Tyler with Yaoyao.
Jax with Clair.
Johny with Angelica.
James with Wanda.
Dylan with May.
Alex with Anna.
Blake with Caroline.
And Hector, still single.

"Well let's go back," Issy said as he stood up with Jayde.

None of the others had really heard what Issy said, they were all still absorbed by the joy and happiness of finally having a girlfriend, but they still left the sport complex pair by pair after a few minutes.

Issy led Jayde out of the sport complex and sat down underneath a tree.

"I knew you didn't mean it when you said you were going back," Jayde sat down in front of Issy and lay back on Issy.

"Of course I didn't. I want to spend more time with you... alone," Issy said as he cuddled Jayde with his arms wrapped tight around Jayde.

The night breeze blew gently.

"We're officially together now right?" Jayde asked softly, turning around.

"Yes, we are," Issy whispered into Jayde's ear and rested his head on hers.

The two of them stayed in this position, whispering to each other, until late at night.

"Hey, Issy! Look up!" Jayde exclaimed, pointing into the night sky," there are so many stars!"

Issy looked up and sure enough, there was a lot of stars blinking back to him.

"Yup, and they look so pretty, too, just like you," Issy chuckled.

"......." Jayde looked down, but she actually felt really happy inside her heart.

Issy checked his phone - 1am.

"I think it's time to go back," Issy said to Jayde.

"Okay," Jayde answered after a few seconds, clearly not wanting to go back just yet.

But both Issy and Jayde didn't move, both of them wanting to savour this blissfull moment with each other a little longer.

Eventually, Issy and Jayde got up reluctantly.

"Well, good night," Issy said as he kissed Jayde on her forehead.

"Good night," Jayde said as she planted a small kiss on Issy's mouth. She immedietly turned away and ran into the night.

Issy, feeling slightly surprised at Jayde's kiss, looked at Jayde's back as she ran off toward the girls' dorm.

Issy walked back towards the boys' dorm. He expected everyone to be asleep, but instead he found everyoe wide awake playing poker cards.

"You're finally back! Took you long enough," Tyler exclaimed when Issy walked inside.

"Yeah, it's been 2 hours," Jax said, checking the time.

"Well, I wasn't keeping track of the time," Issy said innocently.

"Should we tell each other what had happened during the night?" James asked everyone.

"Sure," Alex replied.

And so, the nine of them spend the night talking about their own experiences during the prom. When they finally went to sleep, it was already 4am.

Issy stood outside the school, enjoying the morning sun. He surprised himself when he actually woke up at 8am, all his friends were still sleeping.

Suddenly, Issy felt a pair of arms hugging him from behind.

"Good morning, baby," Jayde mumbled behind Issy's back. Jayde was wearing casual clothes today.

Issy turned around and hugged Jayde back," good morning love, how was your sleep?"

"It was okay, I slept right after I went back, what about you?"

"I talked with my friends until 4am, hehe," Issy said.

The morning breeze blew gently and picked up Jayde's hair, which wasn't tied up yet. Her hair fluttered and danced in the breeze. The sun shone through Jayde's hair, making it look even more brown and beautiful than usual.

"Omg Jayde..."

"What?"

"You really do look very pretty... You're just like an angel from the heavens."

Issy carressed Jayde's face gently and lifted her face by the chin. The morning bleeze blew again.

Gently and slowly, Issy kissed Jayde on the lips. Issy's hands made their way behind Jayde's back while Jayde's hands found Issy's neck.

Issy's kisses changed from a delicate one into intense kisses. Jayde tried to pull back but Issy wouldn't let go and held Jayde back, Jayde eventually gave in to Issy's possessive kisses.

They stood there, kissing each other passionately, not caring whether if they were being watched or if they would be caught.

At first, Jayde was still a little uneasied and anxious about being watched, but Issy's kisses were getting stronger and stronger by each passing second that Jayde couldn't help but just put aside all her worries as she returned Issy's kisses just as passionate.

"Holy shit... They're making out right there, right under the bright sun in the morning," Dylan whispered to Blake.

"Even I never did that with Caroline before..." Blake said.

After what felt like an eternity, Jayde slowly pulled back from Issy.

"Not here, okay... We might just get caught," Jayde said softly, her face as red as a tomato.

"Okay," Issy glanced around, just in time to see Jax and the others disappearing from the window.

"Let's go back in," Issy said as he held Jayde's hand in his own.

So, Issy and Jayde went back into the school compound hand in hand, with their heart belonging to each other, and no one else.
