As they were on their way, Casper kept stealing glances at Ariel, checking on her condition.

"You know what? I think this is still a bad idea. I think we should go back." Casper turned to Ariel who had her eyes closed for awhile.

"No, I will still go to school no matter what. Don't worry. I will take medicine when I reach school."

"No, I think we should head back." Casper still does not want to give up.

"No, no. The fever is still not so serious now. I will take medicine first thing when I reach school okay? Just let me go to school alright?" Ariel was already sitting still, looking right into Casper's eyes.

"Why are you being so stubborn?" Casper could not control his anger. Why does she not want to listen to me?

"Why are you so against it?" Ariel's voice has raised too.

Casper kept looking front. His anger has taken over his whole emotions. "Get off."

Ariel turned to look at him after hearing him. He did not even turn to spare her a look. She was disappointed in him. The car stopped as instructed by Casper and she got off. The moment she closed the door, the car drove off without looking back.

She looked at her watch. She has only 3 minutes left before she will be late. She garners up any strength she has left to run to the school which was a few minutes away.

"Damn it! What's wrong with me?"

He walks back and forth in the living room. He could not sit still, thinking of Ariel's condition. He grunts as he messed up his hair. His hair became disheveled. He tries to sit down and calm himself down but it could not last long. His thoughts are filled with only her. How is she? Is she okay? What is she doing? Why is the time passing by so slow?

He stares at his phone hoping for some calls or texts but there was nothing. Silence. He could no longer take it. He took his jacket and head for the car.

"Yes! We are finally done with one! That's such a hard one." Laura felt free.

"I agree but you shouldn't get too happy yet. We still have more coming." Simon agrees but still not being too complacent.

"Well, I'm just happy it's over for now." Laura smiled.

Ariel keeps holding onto her head as it gets dizzier and heavier. Her vision slowly becomes blurry. Laura saw Ariel and quickly hold onto her as they were walking out of the school.

"Are you- Woah, you are burning!" Just as she touched Ariel's body.

"I-" She could not even finish and the whole world became dark.

She slowly opened her eyes. She felt something on her forehead. As she touched it, she heard someone's voice. She handed the cloth that was on her head, over to Grace.

"You're awake." Grace was seen in front of her.

"What happened?" She tried to sit up properly.

"You fainted." Grace helped her up and ensure she was comfortable.

"I what?" Ariel asked in disbelief.

"You fainted when you are going back from school." Grace explained slowly.

"I see. Wait, was my friends the one who sent me back?" She suddenly thought that they might have known her secret.

"Oh, no. It was Mr. Casper who took you back," told Grace as she points towards the couch in the room.
