"Camilla. Please come back to us.. We miss you so much we-"
Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!
"She's waking up Mr. Anderson."
Bright lights blinded my eyes as they slowly opened. Looking to my left, I saw my dad and the doctor with kind smiles on their faces. On my right were my siblings Thomas and Angie with tears in their soft eyes.
Realizing where I was, I quickly sat up. "Where are we..? What happened.?" I coughed.
My dad was the first to speak up. "Honey you need to lie down. You need as much rest as possible. Do you remember what happened? We found you on Main Street road unconscious-
His voice faded away as I deeply thought about all that occurred. To be honest the whole incident seemed like a dream, or more like a horrible nightmare. Yet, my skin was pinkish around the area where I had gotten the shot. So I guess it did all actually happen. I shivered at the thought of needles. What did that guy do to me? That... I don't know. Why me of all people? That I.. Also don't know....
-"It's been so long since I've seen your beautiful blue eyes sweetie." My dad said as he gently caressed my cheek.
"Wait, how long was I unconscious.." I asked worriedly, now remembering I wasn't alone with my thoughts.
"It's been two months Cami.." Replied Angie with a worried expression.
"What!!?!?"
I quickly removed the straps holding me down and jumped out of bed, to closely look at the calendar on the shelf. I was mortified.
How has it been that long..??
"Sis, you have to stay in bed-"
I cut Thomas off, "It's been two months...?!?!" I placed my hands on my head in distress, "What happened to me?!?"
"Well.. We thought you might know," my dad replied.
"I-I.." Telling them what happened seemed like a horrible idea to me. First of all, they might think I'm crazy. IF they believed me, it would be horrifying for them. My heart was pounding anxiously as I thought of a way to deceive everyone. "I.. Was struck by lightning...?" I mumbled, realizing I questioned myself, "I was struck by lightning and it must have knocked me out for a long time. "
"Huh. That's odd. I don't recall you having electricity in your system when we found you." The doctor started.
"Maybe the effects wore off quickly then." I replied.
The doctor looked at me oddly, "Well then, let's get you some lunch."

Later that week the hospital finally
approved of me going back home. My life had gone back to normal!~
In 5 weeks the school year starts! I'm so very excited for college, I bet I'll have so much fun! I'm going because I want to be a professional hairstylist. The school is called "St. Peter's School Of Arts" I know It'll be an amazing experience!
It's a quiet Saturday evening in my living room and I'm studying different hairstyles and techniques in hopes to prepare myself for college. I heard snoring and looked to my left. My dad had fallen asleep watching my favorite show, Full House, on the couch. Quietly, I picked up my books and tiredly trudged upstairs to my room. I sat down on my bed and continued to study.
Suddenly, my dominant hand started shaking... It was shaking violently and wouldn't stop. My other hand grabbed my wrist in hopes to end it, but it was no use. I flung my arm against the metal bars on my bed and with a loud bang it made a dent. Shocked, I slowly looked at my hand. I covered my mouth with my other hand so I wouldn't scream in absolute fear. I jumped off my bed and examined the fist-sized dent closely. Then I grabbed an old book from my shelf and banged my hand across it. It sliced in two.. And I felt no pain....
••••••••••
I was awoken the next morning by the bright sun shining through my window. My body was sprawled out on my bedroom floor with a blanket resting on my head. My clock read 10:27, my dad was at work then. I yanked the blanket off and gazed at the book that was split in half. Glancing back and forth between the two made me slightly nauseous. Luckily, my hand was no longer shaking, so I guess that's a good sign?
Finally, I decided to get up off the floor and get ready for the day, while trying not to think about my freakishly weird hand. I carefully opened a drawer in my dresser with my other hand and grabbed my clothes. After I had gotten dressed I headed downstairs for breakfast.
The kitchen was small. Not fancy whatsoever.. But I liked it. Kinda cozy, I guess is what you could call it. It had a small wooden table with four chairs surrounding it in the center of the room. A fridge sat right behind it with the oven, stove, and microwave to the left of the fridge. There was one silver counter and multiple wooden cabinets.
I felt like cereal today, so I poured myself a bowl of Fruit Loops and ate it up.
When I was finished I picked up my empty bowl and it flung and hit the ceiling. "OWW!" I shrieked as the broken glass shards fell on me. "I.. Didn't even throw it. I just picked it up.." I muttered. I was too freaked out to notice that I was standing on pieces of glass and my feet were bleeding. "What's happening to me.?" I gasped breathlessly.
After I had cleaned up my feet and the floor I went outside. My car was parked in the drive way like always. Then, it hit me. Ok ok I am totally insane.. I thought. I crept towards my car and bent over, placing both my hands underneath it. I pulled upwards and lifted the car with my bare hands! My expression was filled with fear and awe. Then I carefully set it back down and just stared at my hands.
"Do-.. Do I have powers?!?"
