This is my story. Crazy? Yes.. But it's worth telling.
Hi, I'm Camila Anderson.
I'm 18 and just finished high school, but I've picked out a college and will start living in a dorm room. Not for a few more months though. I live in a small city called Williamsburg in Montana. It doesn't get many outsiders.
I'm 5'2 (yes I know I'm short) and quite skinny. I have auburn hair that lightly sits on my shoulders when it's not in a ponytail. My eyes are crystal blue and my rosy cheeks are covered in freckles.
My style? Now that's another story.. I have no sense of fashion whatsoever. Is it really a crime to live my life in a hoodie and sweatpants? I mean, that's not all I wear, occasionally I'll wear a t-shirt and shorts, but that's about it.
I'm the youngest in my family. I have two older siblings. My brother, Thomas, (the middle child) who's 23, and my sister, Angie, (the eldest) who just turned 27. My mom past away 5 years ago from lung cancer. It broke my dads heart.. Right now my dad is struggling to keep food on the table. He works at a market nearby but it does not pay well. My dad is stubborn and has lost many jobs in the past few months.
Don't get me wrong, I love my family and all, but being around them is hard sometimes. Thomas always teases me about anything he can find that seems weird about me. He has always been the most talented in my family. Playing football, baseball, basketball, and keeping his grades to a perfect A+ at all times. Like, how could anyone compete with that?
Now Angie, well, she's the most beautiful girl you could ever see. She has a perfect figure, and a dainty-like posture. Her emerald green eyes are so stunning you could get lost in them. The smile on her face is always there just waiting to find someone to cheer up. On top of that, she has gorgeous long, blonde hair that drapes along her lower back. How could I compete with that??
I'm completely lost in the giant shadows they cast. So, college will be a way for me to be recognized as an equal individual without any distractions in the way.
