i can't believe i'm doing this.

i've never bought anything for any of the many girls i've dated. she was the first one, to think that i barely even know her and that she's a pauper.

i had no choice but to buy slippers for her or else she would be ignoring me.

"here, use them well." i said as i handed her the paper bag.

"thank you." she said and sweetly smiled.

i suddenly felt this different sensation in my stomach upon hearing her voice. it sounded sweet and soothing, and actually goes well with her smile.

"uh, let's get going. my stomach feels funny." i said and didn't anymore wait for her as i made my way to my car.

we then headed home as soon as we left the boutique. i feel like my stomach's spinning, if that's even possible.

we were just quiet during the ride. everytime i would steal glances at her, she would flash me her sweet smile, which would make my stomach feel odd again.

"we're here." i announced as soon as we arrived.

seconds have passed yet i still haven't got a response so i turned my head to the side, only to see her with her head leaning by the window. her golden blonde hair slightly covered her face but i could still see a glimpse of her sleeping face.

i can't help but smile at the view. she looks so innocent and angelic. she isn't like the other girls i've dated who would do anything to get laid on.

wait, no, what the hell am i saying?

my thoughts disappeared once i heard our maid knocking on my car window.

"master, your father called and said they wouldn't be coming home today." the maid said as soon as i got out of the car.

"that's nothing new." i murmured and passed her by to get the sleeping pauper in my car.

i carefully opened the car door to the passenger seat and picked her up bridal style.

"prepare a bath for her once she wakes up. she'll be using the guest room." i reminded the maid who perhaps looked surprised by the girl.

this was actually the first time i had to bring a girl home. they're not worth seeing our house since i always considered them as toys.

but this girl is an exception. i mean, she's also one of my toys but i'm absolutely not going to flirt with her in the middle of the street.

as soon as we entered the guest room, i plopped her softly on the bed and pulled up the sheets, carefully trying not to disturb her in her deep slumber.

"goodnight." and with that, i kissed her forehead before leaving the room.
