LISA.

"but you always go to work and i can't even spend half a day with you, even on weekends!" i whined at yunhyeong, who is standing by the doorway and is about to leave for work.

"but lisa..."

"come on, yunhyeongie. just this one time. pleaaaseee?" i pleaded, showcasing my infamous puppy eyes and hoping yunhyeong would take the bait.

"fine. you know how much i can't resist you. i'll just call my secretary to tell her i won't be going to work today." he sighed whilst i jumped in excitement.

i ran upstairs to change my clothes and get ready. i've always wanted to go to the amusement park with yunhyeong and watch the fireworks at night with him.

i chose a light blue flowy knee-length dress, a small white shoulder bag, and a pair of white flats to complete my outfit.

after looking satisfied with my look, i ran downstairs to meet yunhyeong, who already changed from his business attire to a casual outfit.

"you look pretty, as always." he complimented with a smile. "let's go?"

"mhm!" i nodded my head eagerly in response.

as soon as we entered the park, i immediately dragged yunhyeong to the roller coaster ride.

the coaster slowly made its way up the slope as i started to anticipate and my feet started to fidget.

"you excited?" yunhyeong calmly asked.

"yup!" i exclaimed whilst he chuckled in response.

the coaster came to a short stop as it reached the peak of the slope. i felt my heart racing fast due to excitement as i couldn't wait for the next second to happen.

until the moment i have been waiting for has came— the coaster dropped and quickly, as a lightning, bolted it's way down the slope and through the remaining tracks, going through endless loops, one after another.

i just love the feeling of being on air, having the wind blown on my face while i stretch my arms freely. it felt like freedom, how i scream at the top of my lungs and all my worries and sorrows being blown away at the moment.

"this is so fun!!! right babe?"

"no way! i feel like barfing any moment now..."

"oh come on, you are such a killjoy! let's have another round later!"

"another round?? i'd rather ride the merry-go-round."

overhearing the couple in front of us, i reminisced the time when jungkook brought me here. vivid images from before came rushing in my head continuously, and i hate how every second makes me feel like i'm being led right through my misery.

i hate how i wasn't anymore feeling the wind on my face, i hate how my mood was all ruined because of that one event— no, that one person,

and i hate how i long for someone this much that it hurts real bad, because no matter what i do to distract myself, he always gets in my mind in a way or two.

"hey, what happened? are you alright?" i was snapped out of my thoughts as i realized the ride was already done. "were you crying?" surprised, yunhyeong held my face as i found out there were tears running down my cheeks.

"my eyes were just exposed to air for too long." i said, wiping off my tears.

"you seemed like you were quite enjoying a while ago. would you like another round?" he asked.

"no," i shook my head.

smiling, i said, "let's ride the merry-go-round."

3RD PERSON.

'jealous'. it was the perfect term to describe him.

the man watched in rage as the couple before him finished their ice creams happily. he hated how his arms wrapped around her waist, how he made her laugh, thinking he should be the one doing all that.

he hated how they looked at each other lovingly, and how they looked perfect together.

"that should've been me." he thought.

turning around as he unclenched his fist, he sighed. he couldn't anymore take what he was seeing. it was more than enough to hurt him, having to see the one he loves in someone else's arms. it was like he was stabbed continuously in the heart until it shattered to a thousand pieces.

but he told himself that he shouldn't be too affected by his emotions for he still had this play to put up, and he should strengthen himself to succeed in this plan of his.

walking through the hallway leading to the restroom, he was too immersed in his thoughts to realize that he had already bumped into someone.

"i'm sor— what are you doing?!" the lady screamed in panic as the brunet pinned him to the wall.

"you pervert! get off! i will call th—" the lady shouted as she struggled to get off from his grasp but was cut off when the man, to her surprise, wrapped his arms around her.

"i missed you..." he said as he buried his head on her neck.

as much as she wanted to, she couldn't move, she was frozen by the man's familiar voice. why didn't she recognize him earlier? she was probably in a state of panic and was too flabbergasted to look at his face.

realizing how she was already in his grasp, he didn't want to let go anymore. he always longed for her touch, her sweet scent, and her sweet voice. and now she's right there, in his arms, he knew he felt safe at the moment.

but he felt a loud pang on his chest as he came to another realization that this moment won't last long. he felt frustrated and angry that he couldn't have her for his own, and that he let her slip away from his fingers easily.

heart racing fast and mind caught up in a mess, he couldn't help but cry with all these mixed emotions.

the lady was surprised as she felt cold liquid on her neck, and the uncontrollable sobbing of the man before her.

it was the first time she saw him at this state, and she didn't like it.

she didn't like how she was worried sick about him.

"w-why are you crying?" she asked.

the man did not respond, and so she didn't know what to do. it wasn't in her nature to comfort people, never did she once try to do so.

despite her nervousness, she wrapped his arms around him and slowly patted his back, hoping it would calm him down.

when she thought her husband might be waiting for her for too long, she tried to escape from the man's grasp but failed to do so as he was too strong.

"stay with me...."

silence. they were too caught up in the moment to even say a word. all they can hear was how fast their heartbeats were.

"jungkook..."

"please, lisa, just for another minute..."
