Sophitz Short Stories || Keeper of the Lost Cities

The Kiss

"Let's make this hidden clearing our base!" Sophie called to to Fitz as she peered into a cleared away area hidden by bushes and trees. They were currently playing base quest with Biana and​ Keefe.

"Okay," Fitz agreed. They both ran in and sat back to back with each other. Sophie closed her eyes and stretched her mind to find their thoughts and she found out that they were heading in the total opposite direction.

"This is gonna be a while," Sophie sighed turning to face Fitz.

"How about we play a game?" Fitz suggested.

"Sure, what game?" Sophie asked him.

"How about what are the odds?" Fitz suggested.

"That's a game I heard about when I was growing up!" Sophie smiled thinking about when she was ten. She was now fourteen almost fifteen and Fitz was sixteen almost seventeen.

"Okay, you go first," Fitz told her.

"What are the odds you will prank call Dex?" Sophie asked him. They counted to three, Sophie shouted two and Fitz shouted four. They started laughing and then Fitz started talking again.

"What are the odds you tell me who you like?" Fitz asked Sophie. Sophie blushed knowing that if she told Fitz she would be totally embarrassed. She obviously liked Fitz. Sophie called out five and Fit called out six. That was a close call for Sophie.

"What are the odds you will get your​ matchmakers list next year?" Sophie asked. They both shouted out different numbers again. Sophie cursed quietly, she wanted to see if she was on Fitz list so bad. She looked up at Fitz and he smirked.

"What are the odds you will kiss me?" He asked. As soon as Sophie said seven she realized Fitz had said seven too. She blushed and looked down. Fitz fingers lifted her chin gently and his teal eyes met her brown ones. Their lips moved closer and eventually touched. This was Sophie's first kiss. They pulled away and Sophie sensed thoughts nearing in on them.

"Let's finish this later, I will not loose a game of base quest," Sophie giggled.

"That's my girl," Fitz smiled as they both stood up and tagged out Keefe and Biana. Eventually they finished playing base quest and Sophie and Fitz ran inside the mansion at Everglen.

They rushed to Fitz room before anyone noticed then and he shut and locked his door. Sophie giggled and her lips found there way onto Fitz.

"I have loved you since the day I met you Sophie Foster," Fitz whispered.

"I love you too," Sophie giggled kissing Fitz again.
