Sophitz Short Stories || Keeper of the Lost Cities

Proposal

"Fitz, where are you taking me?" Sophie asked as she walked with her eyes closed tightening her grip on Fitz hands.

"Somewhere," Fitz smirked. Sophie groaned and continued to walk with him trusting that he wasn't going to make her trip and fall.

"We're here," Fitz grinned. Sophie opened her eyes and the bright sun streamed into her eyes. She squinted as her eyes ajusted to the light.

Sophie gasped as she saw what was in front of her. Fitz had set up a picnic for them right next to a lake and a waterfall that fell peacefully into the lake.

"It's beautiful!" Sophie gasped. She turned to face Fitz and kissed him right on the lips.

"Anything for you," He smiled giving her another kiss. Sophie giggled and skipped down to where the picnic blanket was set up.

"This reminds me of when I would go on picnics with my family," Sophie recalled sitting down on the blanket.

"I wanted to make it something special to you," Fitz explained sitting down across from her. Sophie immediately dug in and pulled out the Mallowmelt.

"How did I know you would go for the Mallowmelt first?" Fitz asked laughing.

"You know me too well," Sophie giggled bopping him on the nose. She started eating her piece and turned to look at the waterfall. Its crystal clear water came down in a peaceful was, the sound of the water rushing soothed her ears. She turned to face Fitz again and he was down on one knee.

"Fitz!" Sophie gasped.

"Sophie Elizabeth Foster, I have loved you ever since I first saw you, you made my life complete, you helped me get through hard time, and most of all you are my congate, the person who has the strongest connection to me by far. Sophie will you make me the happiest man alive by becoming a Vacker and marrying me?" Fitz asked.

"Yes," Sophie screeched tackling Fitz in a hug. It knocked them both over and Sophie kissed Fitz. He slipped the ring on her finger and smiled.

"I love you so much and now we are going to start a family, and our first baby will be a boy because we will need to have another Vacker just like his daddy, and then we will have a girl and she will be so pretty that our son will have to protect her," Sophie rambled.

"Let's talk about this at the wedding," Fitz teased and winked at Sophie, "For now we kiss." He finished and kissed Sophie again.
