"Another Chance"

Chapter 6 - Four Days and Three Nights

Blyx's P.O.V

I woke up, still at the garden. I then remembered that I slept here. I stared at the garden for a whole hour. Thinking what I did to deserve another chance. Was it because I loved Carly that I made stupid things? Or was it the fact that what I did to Carly was so bad that they want me to apologize? I sighed upon thinking. My parents, always away, didn't bother to even visit me once. If it hadn't been for the pictures, then I would've forgotten their faces. I have no childhood because I was weak when I was a kid. I had to undergo many surgeries because of a lot of ailments.

"It's not progressing well, don't you think?"

"Don't remind me."

"Aren't you gonna ask how her mother is doing?"

"I'm sure she's fine. She's recovering."

"You were asking, right?"

"About?"

"About why you were given a chance."

"Yeah. I think that this is the second one. Someone told me before that I almost died."

"You knew..."

"Yeah. So, why?"

"Well, you were so strong on holding your own problems. No family to talk to nor friends. Didn't get paid that much attention by anyone. You did a lot of horrible things because you were inlove. You were just loving someone who doesn't love you back. You also did a lot of great stuffs without you noticing."

"Like what?"

"When you were twelve, you got into an accident. One of your kidneys came out but it was still usable. That same time, one kid also got into an accident. He lost a kidney. The doctors wanted to give your kidney to the other kid since he lost his only kidney. But since you were the original owner, they gave it back to you in which your body rejected. Just thirty minutes after they put it, you started to bleed. They retrieved your kidney and gave it to the other kid. He even lived."

"Are you serious? Is that even possible?"

"Miracle as it may sound, it's the truth."

"Okay, well, I should sleep inside my room now."

"Okay."

Was that even possible?

I went inside the house to find Jerdon alone on the couch smirking. I sighed and was gonna avoid him but he grabbed my wrist.

"Hey, if you can give yourself to me then I wouldn't go after your girlfriend." he smirked. Without leaving a second to spare, he suddenly groped my breasts. I gasped and tackled him to the ground. I locked both of his hands and punched him.

"What the?" Carly suddenly came and pushed me quite hardly.

"Ouch." my butt landed on the cold floor. I saw her help Jerdon out. Jerdon, being the jerk he is, pretended that he actually got hurt. Now I know that this is just to get back at me, I think.

"Why did you suddenly attack him?" her voice full of venom. I was gonna reason out but then I remembered that the jerk will just pretend and lie, so I gave up.

I had no chance anyway.

"Have a nice day."

The rest of the day passed by quickly. With Carly having a fun time with Jerdon, I was alone. I just hope those guards are doing their job. I found myself staring at the ceiling. I lost track of time. I didn't care. I stopped caring. Until Carly barged in seeing me laying down and so weak.

"Blyx." I sat up or more like dragged myself to sit up.

"What's up? How's your day?" I smiled weakly.

"M-Mom's already here."

"I thought she was gonna come back after a whole week?" I stood up and watched the calendar. I still have a week and three days.

"She begged the doctors." I nodded and laid back again.

"Okay..." I closed my eyes for a while.

"Don't you want to see her?" her voice cracked.

"Did something happen between you and Jerdon?"

"What? No! I'm just angry about why you attacked him. He just want to introduce his self properly and yet you attacked him."

If I want her to forgive me then I'll just suck this up and ask for forgiveness. This might hurt me but at least she's gonna trust me after I falsely accept.

"Yeah... sorry. I... was not in the mood." I gulped.

"Then why would you release it on him?" she's really getting angry.

"Carly, let me rest." I don't really want to argue right now.

"No! You've been locking yourself up more often now!"

"Carly, please."

"No! No! No! I want to know why you're so angry at him! I want to know why you're so against us!"

"I told you didn't I? I don't trust him." I was calm but I was already raging.

Why won't anyone pick my side for once?

"Says the one who almost got me raped." she hissed.

"Look, I'm really sorry. If you want then you can punish me or heck even kill me. As long as you forgive me, then I'm willing to do anything."

"I'm not a murderer like you!" that's it!

"Get the fuck out of room! Go have sex or something!"

"I don't need you to tell me that, you maggot!" she basically left my room.

I sighed and sighed. I can't believe it. Actually I can and I even predicted him to pretend, but it's a different pain if she believed him. It was also my fault because I let him have his way with his lies. God! I'm one screwed up teenager.

 I decided. I didn't back down and have a quarrel with Carly whenever we see each other for the rest of the week. In that time, I haven't seen Carly's mom. Well, my guide did say a week... so, I guess a week is a week.
