Chapter 6

Chapter 6 -You're asking me?!

"Hey Silver! Can you help me?" Amy said in an innocent little voice.

"Uh, sure Amy. What's the matter?" Silver said, scratching his head.

"C-could you drop your water balloon on Shadow? He, uh, kinda fainted... over there." Amy gulped, biting the bottom of her lip.

"What?! Why did he faint?!" Silver said in shock.

"Well, I kind of... Accidentally..." Amy takes a deep breath and said, "Hit him with my hammer."

"What hammer?" Silver asked. Amy showed him the hammer she was talking about. He was stunned by the sher size of it. "Gee you must be really strong, Amy. No one can just easily knock out Shadow the hedgehog, he's indestructible-- or that's what others say he is..." Silver said walking up to the ebony hedgehog on the ground.

"Eheheh..." Amy said, scratching her cheek.

"You're lucky I have two." Silver chuckled. "I was planning on dropping these on Sonic, he seems to be really afraid of water."

Silver dropped the water balloon and with a splash Shadow gasped for air. Shadow held his head as he sat up, eyes still closed. He got a little angry and shouted, "Why'd you have t-" he stopped as he opened his eyes to see Amy in front of him.

"What were you doing?!" Amy shouted, looking angry. "You had me really worried when you fainted!"

"Uhh, I'm sorry, Amy.." Shadow said. "But, I was going to ask you about something."

"Ask about what?" Amy said, tilting her head as they both stood up.

"How can I say it...?" Shadow said, sratching his head. He held two tickets in his hand but hid it behind his back.

Silver noticed the two tickets behind Shadow's back, "Hey what's this?" he asked as he pulled the tickets out of Shadow's hand with his powers.

"Hey!" Shadow said as he tried to reach for the tickets.

"Here, take a look, Amy." Silver handed the tickets over to Amy and to her surprise, they were Twinkle Park tickets.

Twinkle Park is Station Square's very famous amusement park, and one of the places Amy wanted to go to when she got to the city.

"I was going to ask you if you'd come with me to Twinkle Park?..." Shadow said, eyes looking down. Silver quietly backed away from the two hedgehogs, knowing that he wasn't involved in the conversation.

Amy's heart skipped a beat when she heard Shadow say that he was going to ask her, "I... I.." she said and looked at Shadow with eyes wide as ever. Amy's cheeks felt warmer and warmer every second she stared at Shadow, who was waiting for a response.

"I-Its okay if you don't want to." Shadow stuttered.

"Of course I want to go you Ultimate Butt!!!" Amy shouted with cheeks as red as a rose. "But I won't go without you......." she muttered. Shadow paused and blushed lightly.

The corners of Shadow's mouth grew into a big smile. He hugged Amy in happiness and whispered "Thank you, you have made me smile again..."
