Chapter 14

Chapter 14 - A Miracle

Shadow had already left, when suddenly, a gasp for air came from Amy's coffin. Rosetta rushed to it and saw her. Amy, eyes wide and shock still embedded in her face.

She quickly opened the coffin and let her breathe.

"Mom?" Amy said with a frail voice.

"Amy?" The mother carefully sat Amy up. "B-But I don't understand," Rosetta held her head, "How."
The purple cat gigled, "Its been a long time, Rosetta." The cat's voice seemed familiar to her, as if she was a long lost friend. She came closer as the cat took off her hood.

"Blaze?" Rosetta squinted. "Blaze! Look at you!" She was overjoyed. Amy felt her head ache.

"Oh my, honey, let's get you to your room before we talk." Rosetta said to Amy as she helped her out of the coffin. "Easy now..."

"Your energy is low. You need to rest, Amy," the purple cat said. "Let's get you to your room."

"O-okay." Amy carefully got out of the coffin and started walking to her room.

As they reached the room. Amy sat down on her bed.

"What happened..?" Amy asked. "The last thing I remembered was talking to Shadow while I couldn't move. And then everything went dark, I couldn't see a thing."

"How did I get here?" she continued. "Why was I in a coffin when I woke up? Wh-"

"Hon, I'm sure you have a lot of questions to ask." Rosetta said. "But for now, you should rest. You're exhausted."

"Alright mom." Amy muttered as she slowly layed down on the bed.

While Amy was sleeping, Blaze and Rosetta were chatting.

"Its been so long, Blaze." Rosetta marveled. "And yet look at you! You haven't changed a bit!"

"Its been too long, my friend." Blaze giggled.

Rosetta confusingly shook her head. "But I don't understand. Why have you come here?" she asked. "Oh but don't get me wrong. Thank you for bringing my Amy back! Yet what's happend that you came back?"

Blaze looked at Amy and back Rosetta. "Its because his plan has started." she spoke. "He has already taken control over the boy."

"Oh no. You don't mean?" Rosetta gasped.

"Yes. Shadow the hedgehog." Blaze replied.

On the bed, Amy was quietly listening but as they mention Shadow, she quickly got up. A worried look was engraved on her face.

"What!?" Amy sprang from the bed. Rosetta and Blaze were quite shocked.

"Amelia Rose!" Rosetta said with her arms crossed. "What did I tell you about eavesdropping on other people's conversations?"

"I know, but who is 'he'?" Amy asked.

"Its best that you don't know..." the mother replied. Then, Blaze suddenly got a sense that something was wrong, very wrong.
