She took a deep breath and stared deeply at the heroes fighting in front of her. She noticed their weaknesses and pain showing from each attack. Her eyes winced at the sudden blow The Phantom Thieves took. Each and every one of them were fighting for her sake. She felt weak. She felt pathetic. She felt the feeling of despair and grief eating her from the inside.
They were fighting her best friend's shadow. Her controlling, destructive best friend she knew from kindergarten. Was it her fault that she allowed someone to control her life?
"We're best friends right (Y/n)..?" Her best friend gave her the puppy eyes and growled once she grew quiet. Her eyes burned with rage and betrayal.
"I asked you a fucking question. We are best friends right? You said you wouldn't leave me right?" She grabbed her hair forcefully and threw her to the ground. (Y/n) yet out a shriek of pain. Her scalp burned furiously.
