(S/p)-Small pokemon you can hold and carry anywhere.

"I bet I can get that Leppa berry before you can (Y/n)!" Gary huffed before taking off to the nearby bush that held a Leppa berry.

"No I'll get it first!" (Y/n) replied trailing close behind Oak's grandson. Professor Oak laughed slightly as he takes care of the small pokemon close by. He smiled at the slight of two children laughing and playing as he reminisces about his childhood. Professor Oak turned back to the pokemon before hearing a small crash. (Y/n) tripped upon a small rock and landed on Gary as he was holding the Leppa berry.

"(Y/n) are you okay?" Gary asked, trying to help her stand up.

"I'm sorry..." Gary only sighed before brushing off some grass. He cleaned the Leppa berry and handed it over to (Y/n).

"Here! You must be hungry by all that playing!" (Y/n) accepted the red and yellow colored berry and decided to split it in half, which she gave the other half to Gary. The two children giggled before biting into the berry and running back towards Professor Oak.

"Smell you later loser!" Gary smirked, his cheerleaders driving off towards the next town. (Y/n) coughed slightly from the dust. She looked over to Gary who only grinned.

Its been at least 15 years since they met. And they started their journey at least 7 years ago. And this year they're 18.

(Y/n)'s first starter was a Charmander while Gary started off with a Squirtle. It was a type disadvantage whenever (Y/n) battled Gary in the past, though she did have a small chance of hope.

(Y/n) believed that if she made a strong connection with her pokemon, they might know her strength and grow just as strong as Gary's pokemon.

(Y/n) held her (S/p) closely before asking Gary,

"Gary where are we going now?"

"We're heading off to Celadon. We should take a break and relax at the most popular city!" (Y/n) nodded before resting her head on Gary's shoulder.

Gary used to talk about selling the convertible and deciding to ditch his cheerleaders, he says he'll sell the car by this weekend.

She heard slight whispers around her in the convertible. She decided to drown them out, only deciding to listen to Gary's breathing.The only group whispering would be the cheerleaders.

"She seems to be really close to Gary."

"Whats up with her?"

"Sheesh. Is she trying to steal Gary away?"

Gary glared at them in silence. He shifted his eyes to the girl next to him. Her shining (h/c) that shined in the light, her (e/c) eyes that made Gary want to get lost in them.

It felt like bliss when the (h/c) placed her head on his shoulder.

The two trainers decided to walk around the small shops. They walked in silence before Gary decided to ask a question.

"(Y/n) do you still remember our childhood together?" He asked. (Y/n) looking at him in surprise.

"Of course. We've been best friends since the beginning." Gary's heart cracked at the sound of Best Friend.

"I see." (Y/n) noticed his silent behavior snd decided to lighten the mood.

Slipping her hand into Gary's she intertwined their fingers. He stared at her with a red face before turning away.

"You're too cute sometimes..." He mumbled, pressing a kiss on her forehead. She giggled.

"I remember you'd always give me kisses on my forehead when we were little."

(Y/n) stood on her tippy toes and gave Gary a kiss on the lips. The two heard a couple of people clapping and congratulations.

"I love you Gary Oak."
