CHAPTER:4

"Turn it off!" I irritatingly yelled.

"Its yours, you idiot!" Adam yelled back.

I groaned as I turned onto my side. I reached out to my stupid iPhone and turned the alarm off. I was now fully awake and there was no point in lying around. I slouched as i made my way to the bathroom. I turned the knob and realised it was locked. I grunted as i started to vigorously knock on the door.

"Relax!" Adam's voice emitted.

I groaned as i knew that once Adam was in the bathroom, he wont be out. He literally takes hour to dress and do his hair.

"Hurry up and do your hair, you freak!" I yelled back.

"There must be a misunderstanding,Viv as you know my hair is sexy and must take some time and care in order to keep its maintenance," Adam chuckled.

That does it. I started kicking and slapping the door until Adam would give in.

"You right there, Viv?" Amanda evilly smirked.

"Fuck off! Amanda!" I suppressed through gritted teeth.

At that very moment Adam walked out and Amanda got in before i could even yell and tell her off.

I started cursing under my breath as i could hear her giggles erupt.

Adam just chuckled and told Amanda to hurry before i go and kill someone. Pretty typical.

In the end i finished, being out and ready.

I hopped into Adams car and we were off to Marines Hill High, more like Hell High.

"Hey guys!" I whispered as i carefully slid into my seat.

"Why are you always late, Turner?" Mr. Simons angrily expressed.

"Sorry Sir, i kinda slept in," i innocently spoke to calm him down.

"Which guy is it now, Turner!" Rebecca yelled.

"Oooooooooooo!" The class boomed.

"I know how it feels to be left out Rebecca, but like, not all of us want the same career as you!" I snickered.

"Oooooooooooo!" The class boomed.

"Shut it guys!" Rebecca snapped as she drastically whipped her hair.

Nathan quickly stopped snickering as soon as he got a death stare from the attention-seeking Rebecca.

All of a sudden a whole gang of Adams friends barge into our class with a...

"Oooooooo Bec got owned by Viv!" They helplessly sang.

"Get out instantly boys!" Mr. Simons had officially lost his temper.

Rebecca stomped on her two feet and stormed out.

"This isn't fucken over TURNER!" Rebecca shrieked.

The door slammed and before we could all start cracking up Nathan rushes out after her.

I started scrapping the table with my compass as all laughter fades with jealously, hate and anger getting in control.

"Its ok, that has to happen, they are together after all," Alice tried to soothe.

"Its a boyfriends job," Austin reassured.

"Thanks guys," i croaked.

Before anyone could see my first tears i looked over and saw Chase proposing to Adam who freaked out and jumped onto one of the guys, Dylan.

And before we knew it the day was over.

I sat down on my bed as Adam decided to barge into my room and interrupt me from texting.

He locked my phone and threw it on my bed. Before i was even able to scream out a letter he scooped me like ice cream and gave me a piggy-back.

"Adam!" I screeched.

He started running around the house and within a blink of an eye i was carelessly thrown onto the couch like garbage.

He ran off to the kitchen and sat down like a five year old, as he tried all sorts of straight faces in front of Maria.

I cracked up as i ran up to him and jumped onto his back. He started complaining that i was ruining his spinal structure and that he could die because of me. I placed a light and faint kiss onto his cheek as he ran with me onto the balcony. We peacefully looked over the balcony and looked at the beach when i suddenly spotted Nathan and Rebecca making out on the sand.

Adam could sense my change of mood as he carefully put me down and told me that Nathan wasn't worth it.

"I always knew i couldn't be happy for at least ten minutes," i sulked.

"Who said fun can't last on a Friday night?" Adam cheekily chuckled.

He scooped me for the second time today and carried me to the living room.

I spotted Amanda sitting on the couch watching a romance movie with tears in her eyes. It obviously wasn't from the film as she started crying during the commercials.

"Psst! How do i get along with your sis?" I whispered into Adams ear.

He sat me down next to her and i sat on the other side of her. All of a sudden she burst into tears. I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and let her cry into mine.

Adam gently soothed her hair, as i mouthed 'whats wrong?' to him.

He simply shrugged his shoulders.

We ended up carrying her up to her room as she fell fast asleep. We returned to the living room, as

Adam and i ended up watching another movie. It wasn't romance as Adam knew that it would remind me of Nathan. But it was horror and midnight so that topped things up. When the commercials began i muted the tv and whispered to Adam,

"Thanks for everything today, You know how like you guys busted in!" I thanked.

"You're welcome! Anytime sis!" He whispered as he kissed the top of my forehead.

I loved having Adam in the family. He was a great part in my life and oh god i was grateful.

My thoughts were interrupted just like always.

"Aww you two are cute, but nothing more, please!" Marie cooed.

"Ewww, Marie sometimes i don't even want to know what goes on in your mind," I shivered.

"Hahahhahaha, but ewwwww not this one, just no!" Adam screamed in a high pitch voice. Sticking out his hand in my face and sashaying off was all that i saw before i burst out laughing.

I repeatedly rolled on the floor of laughter trying to take in breaths before i suffocated. Just when i thought the joke was over he just had to walk back in.

"Oh stop laughing, Vivienne!" Adam tried to scream but simply failed.

I kept on slapping the floor as tears rolled out onto my cheeks from the laughter.

"Seriously Vivienne! Grow up! Nathan come on babe let's go!" Adam shrieked.

By now i was suffocating as Marie stared at us in total confusion.

He could seriously mimic BitchBecca sometimes.

"You little bitch! Can you just leave! All i hear is a desperate bitch laughing her head off! Okay! Your so annoying!" Amanda yelled.

I was lost for words. After everything i did. Letting her cry onto me. Carrying her to bed. All i ever wanted was too get along with my little step sister. But no! She doesn't want that! Well guess what? I've had enough!

I stormed outside slamming the door after me. I didn't know where i was going and what i was doing at a time like this. But i didn't care. I just needed to get away.
