I shot my upper body up and slid up in karate mode. I gazed through the tinted window and frustratingly squinted my eyes to make out what it was.

BANG!BANG!BANG!

And off it went again sending frightening shivers down my spine. Those three sounds were all it took for me to be grabbing the door and gasping for my dear life.

BANG!BANG!BANG!

Now the door turned against me, i thought. But there was no time for joking around, i was going to die. I leaped in fright, grabbing my heart incase it sinked.

"Ahhhhhhh!" i screeched.

I panted and gasped for every last breath i could take in before i suffocated.

"Viv! Viv!Viv?!Vivienne?!" several voices worriedly chanted.

I groaned and repeatedly shook my head as sweat rolled down my forehead, faintly landing on my pillow. I was awoken from not only the voices, but the burn my eyes flickered in from the flash of the light. I was wiped down with a wet cloth along my forehead and down my chin.

"Was that you?" i weakly grunted.

"No! You were screaming your head off and when we ran in you were shaking and sweating," Adam explained making my shoulders less tense and relaxed.

"What happened..." i tried to word out.

"Nothing serious, but you must've gotten a fearsome nightmare," He finished.

"Thanks..." i muttered.

I grabbed onto his hand and squeezed as i let go. My body had run out of colour leaving me pale. I couldn't really understand what was happening in my dream, just the main basics.

"What time is it? Aren't we late for school?" i frantically searched my surroundings.

"No okay! Your sick, you need to rest," he firmly stated pushing my head back down.

I giggled and we exchanged our thanks and byes.

I slept throughout half the day, waking up to the smell of food. Yep Food! My obsession!

"Hey darling, how you feeling?" Marie sweetly greeted.

"Good," i simply replied.

"You have a good sleep?" she continued.

"Yes, perfect," i answered.

"Well that's good sweetie, now eat up." she kindly invited.

We all ended up eating in silence, with no one bothering to ask about anyones day. Forks scraping plates and teeth digging into meat were the only vacant sounds in the room.Just four at a table eating delicious dinner but no words. Great! Typical family! Dad was off to work. To be honest, thats not surprising, his always off in one of those business companies. He hardly comes, i never see him and to think that his my actual father, true blood, the only one in this house that is actually related to me. It sickens me! Pure disgust! And mum left us too, well actually i don't really classify her as a mum after all. so i guess i'm actually all alone, except for Adam and Marie which i consider family.
