CHAPTER:6

The next day was Monday. And we all know how it feels to go to school on a Monday. Yep! Horrible! I tossed and turned refusing myself to get up. After being yelled at and awoken i finally decided it was time to face HELL! Or as they call it 'school'.

I dragged myself around the house throwing things around, determine to find something. I hopped in my car and drove off. I had to drop off Adam as well since his car was at the mechanic.

This ones gonna be a fun one, i thought.

We hopped into the car and before you know it we were off on the highway. I turned up the radio before pulling down the windows.

"Oh God! Here we go!" Adam snickered.

"Hey mate, be happy i was kind enough to drive you, right?" i retorted. He chuckled and glimpsed my way, then turning down the volume.

"Hey!" i argued.

"What? If your not gonna listen to a real song then you might want to lower the volume," He selfishly argued back.

"Fine then! Let's listen to what you call a song!" i challenged, accelerating down the highway.

He changed the channel and slammed the volume up.

"Slow down! Grab the wall! Wiggle like ya wanna make ya ass fall off..."

Adam began to rap along with the radio.

"What in the world is that? Is that even music? And please your lucky enough that i pulled down the windows so you don't crack them, so don't break my poor eardrums!" I sarcastically threw questions and statements at him.

"Number 1, its called music. And number 2, you opened them to get a desperate guys attention." He proved.

"Uh!" i gasped, dropping my jaw 10 feet underground.

"Bitch! I think i'm fine with my love life!" i joked, slightly punching him on the arm.

"Oh really?! Is that why Nathan hardly even knows you exist?" He threw back.

By this point i was speechless. Yeah okay, we were joking around but he has no right to say that. He noticed how quickly my facial expression changed, the way i held the steering wheel until my knuckles were white.

"Hey Viv! You know i was kidding right?" He spat begging for forgivingness.

But hell no was i buying any of it. I ignored thinking maybe silent treatment would do the trick. We eventually arrived at school after a long silencing ride. I slammed the door and walked off before Adam could even let out the breath his been holding from the tension in the car.

"Hey Viv Wait up! Please! I said i'm sorry!" He practically ran after me begging.

By the time he caught up to me i was making my way over to my group.

"Viv, Please..." he began.

"Hey guys! How are you all?" I butted in over his drowning voice.

"You know what? Fine! Okay! If your not going to even let a guy apologise then goodbye! You deserve it! And yes he doesn't even know who you are, except the girl who sits diagonally behind him in bio!" he angrily replied in such an outburst.

Most surrounding people watched him throw his outburst, while others walked away continuing their conversation.

"Turn around and fuck off!" he yelled at all glaring eyes.

He stormed off leaving the rest of us with either confused faces or dangling jaws.

Except me. I was standing their shocked. My knees were getting weaker by the second and they couldn't hold me any longer. I could feel millions of sets of eyes staring down at me. Now i would remembered as the girl. The girl who got humiliated by her own step brother in the middle of everyone at school. My arms started to tremble as i watched the back of his head, turning a sharp corner. My eyes started to overflow with tears. But i couldn't let them out. Not like this. Christie jumped on me with her bone crushing hugs and squeezed me until i threw my arms over her. If it weren't for her jumping at that very moment, my legs probably wouldn't be able to hold me any much longer. I nuzzled my face into her shoulder and simply cried. I cried. I cried and cried and cried until i thought it was okay to let go. As i slowly looked up we were the only ones left in the quad, since the bell rang 10 minutes ago. But i didn't care. Not one bit. The first faces i saw was Alice and Austin's as they held hands, holding back tears. To me it was beautiful, he had his hand intertwined with hers as he squeezed every time she sniffed. She was crying for me. And he was crying for her. It was adorable. Now that's what i call a boyfriend. I didn't care whether it was awkward or if i was interrupting but i just grabbed them and hugged them gracefully. It was such a great feeling until...

"Ahem! Not to interrupt or anything but are you forgetting someone! Like maybe someone here is jealous that they're not getting a hug," Chase jealously requested.

"I would never forget you!" i chuckled, running over and squishing him.

"Oh really! So what happened a few seconds ago?" he mumbled.

"Get over here now you disgusting pests!" a scary, superior voice yelled.

We all glanced up at each other with worried, shocked faces, before we were about to face her.

Oh no! was rushing through our heads a million miles per hour!
