"Ninaaaa!" I yelled while she stole a bite of my panini.
"Quit the yelling, princess." Nina said and rolled her eyes while she gave me my food back.
Probably everyone in Urth Caffe was judging me right now.
"Anyway, what's your plan for the day?" Nina asked taking a sip of her tea.
"I don't know. Cass is bringing me at a friend house for supper tonight." I said. "But other than that. I don't have anything." I said.
"So, tonight, your taken or something?" She asked.
"Yeah." I said and she just nod. "Why are you asking though?" I asked.
"Because, I wanted to invite you to my party tonight." She said.
"How come you haven't invited me earlier?" I asked.
"Because I just decided to make a party tonight like right before lunch." She said.
"Weirdo." I rolled my eyes.
Then there was a silence and I spotted Nina looking behind me.
"What's going on?" I asked and was about to turn my head.
"Don't." Nina quickly said.
"Why? Is there like your ex or something?" I asked whispering.
"Hush." She said and I just did and continued to eat.
"It's cool, now?" I asked.
"No." She said.
"Really, that bad?" I asked and turned quickly and my eyes met with Cameron's eyes.
Maybe I should have stayed in the corner. I decided to just smile and turn my head slowly back at Nina when I realized that Cameron was alone with a girl. Wait, a girl. The same girl he was making out with at Cass and I New Years party. Looks like they're going strong or something.
"I told you." Nina whispered and I just ate my food. We stayed silent and I realized that at the other table. They were also silent. Why did they have to sit this close?
"Excuse me?" I then hear. I look up and see that the girl that Cam was locking lips on New Years was now standing next to me.
"Yes?" I said.
Gosh. You guys didn't see her. She's like a model. She's blond and has a nice tan. I do have a nice tan but she just looks better with one. And her fashion sense... I'm over here wearing sweats with a black top and my hair in a messy bun but she's there with her nice cute little dress and her perfectly straighten hair.
"Sorry, my lipgloss fell and rolled under your table. And I just-" She was starting.
"I got it, sugar. Here you go." Nina said and in her hand there was the little lipgloss.
"Thank you. This is really embarassing." Cam's lover added.
"What's your name?" Nina asked.
I quickly turned to face her. What was she doing. The girl got her lipgloss. Now, she can leave. Girl, Bai?
"Sarah." She just said.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Nina. This is Isabella. She's an actress and I'm a makeup artist." Nina said.
"Oh... okay that's cool. I'm a model." Sarah said.
I was right.
"We can see that." Nina said and she nod awkwardly.
"I think-" Sarah was starting.
"Yeah, right, you should go... join your boyfriend." Nina said but it sounded more like a question.
"Actually, he's n-" Sarah was about to say when I felt another presence.
"What's going on?" Cameron asked.
"Nothing. She just had to grab her lipgloss." Nina explained.
"Yeah." Sarah said.
"Okay, we can go back to-" Cameron was starting.
"Making out in front of Isabella, Cameron?" Nina asked.
"Wait, you guys know eachoth-" Sarah was about to ask.
"I think, I'm done here. Nina... we should totally go." I said and got my stuff. "I'm so sorry." I said not even looking at Cameron and Sarah.
This is so embarassing.
Guess that somebody is going to die today...
Your party tonight, Nina, might turn into a funeral...
