Song of the Chapter: For the Love of a Daughter by Demi Lovato

Michaels POV

I wanted to kiss her. I wanted so bad to just lean down and press my lips against her beautiful ones but the moment wasn't right. We've known each other for a little over a month now and ever since movie night, I haven't been able to get her out of my head.  Her beautiful hair and her soft skin and her quiet giggle she has when she thinks something is funny but isn't sure if anybody else does. I hadn't talked to her since she took me to the ledge. She seemed so sad. It almost felt like there was something else that was bothering her more than just Bethany but she wouldn't tell. Monday morning rolled around and I was anxious to get to school so that I could see her. When I get to the parking lot, I spotter her and June walking together towards the boys.

"Ronnie! June!" I shouted to get their attention and caught up with them. Ronnie seemed to be feeling a lot better. She smiled at me as I appeared next to her.

"Hey you." She said and bumped her shoulder against me. I bumped her back as we met up with Luke, Calum and Ashton by the main stairs. I noticed June giving me a weird side look but I ignored it.

"Alright ladies," Calum started. "Michael's dad has this awesome beach house just 30 miles from town and we were thinking on taking a road trip this weekend. I mean we do have a long weekend since we don't have school Monday or Tuesday." He explained.

"Why don't we have school?" June asked, leaning against Ashton's chest.

"Some teacher meetings or something." Luke answered and me and June nodded in sync.

"Okay so you two in?" Cal asked at the same time that Ronnie turned to me and said "Wait, you have a beach house?"I chuckled.

"Kind of. Its my dads but he literally never uses it so me and the boys go there a lot on the weekends. We haven't done it in a couple months though." I told her.

"Awesome. I'm in. I could use a break from this town anyways." She said. I looked at her for further information as to why but she didn't speak anymore.

"Great! So my car will only fit 4 so I figured me, Luke, Ashton and June in my care and Michael and Ronnie in Mikes car?" I looked to Ronnie who opened her mouth to say something but Calum interrupted. "Okay then it's settled. We'll meet at Michaels Friday at 6." Everybody agreed and we parted ways to go to class. Fortunately, I had 1st period english with Ronnie. As everybody walked off, she looked at me as if she expected us to walk to class together which I was okay with. She dressed differently than usual today. Meaning she was wearing a dress. Just a plain sky blue dress but she still looked amazing in it. I've got to tell her how I feel.

"You never told me your had a beach house!" She exclaimed as we headed to her locker.

"You never asked." I smirked.

"Oh yes because the first thing on my list of 'questions to ask michael clifford' was if you had a beach house." She rolled her eyes jokingly. I poked her side and she squirmed.

"Stop! That tickles." She laughed as I kept poking at her sides.

"God, get a fucking room." Someone spat as they walked by us. Ronnie straightened up, obviously blushing. I smirked down at her.

"What?" She asked innocently.

"You're blushing." I teased making the blush worse. She smacked my chest before she turned to walk to class. "Shut up." She mumbled. I took a few long strides to catch up with her and wrapped my arms around her shoulders.

"You know you love me Ronnie Bensen." She shoved me off.

"You wish Michael Clifford." She laughed and turned into the classroom. Little did she know, I did wish.
