Chp 4

Hyejin had been studying like crazy for the test. She had wanted to move to South Korea for a while. Not only for the music, but for the change/adventure of a new country she wanted for a while.

Her mom wanted to go too, but she had to take care of her twins, Hyejin's siblings, who were in Elementary school still. Her dad obviously couldn't go because of his work in the US.

Hyejin was scared to go to Korea, a whole new place by herself but her adventurous side got the best of her.

One night, after a long study session, the unspeakable had happened.

Yoongi had texted first.

Hyejin hadn't texted him for over a week.

Yoongi: are u dead

In truth, Yoongi had kinda been waiting for her stupid texts. He was curious. Mostly bored though.

Hyejin: might as well be 😤😩😫😢😭😓😪

Yoongi: lol

Hyejin: were u worried 😏

Yoongi: no.

Yoongi: eh.

Hyejin: awww Grandpa has a soft side!

Yoongi: yeah yeah.

Yoongi: what's been going on tho

Hyejin: the exam remember?

Yoongi: oh yeahhh

Yoongi: yet u still couldn't have texted one little stupid text like always? Just one?

Hyejin: I was too tired

Hyejin: *is/am

Yoongi: lol 

Yoongi: when is it?

Hyejin: tomorrow actually.

Hyejin: I took a day off just to study ALL DAY

Hyejin: I barely ate anything too 😭😪

Hyejin: I seriously think I forgot what daylight is. I've been in this room for 24 hours without eating, and just a bunch of books and notes

Yoongi: damn if you studied that hard you'll pass

Yoongi: now go eat something

Hyejin: right?? I studied really hard and basically memorized all the books word for word

Yoongi: go eat

Hyejin: I'm too tired

Yoongi: for a doctor ur pretty dumb even though this your field.

Yoongi: if you don't eat enough you won't be able to focus and do ur best.
