This Dallas kid and I ended up walking around the city.  With his presence I almost felt protected.  Which is weird for me because i always felt that i could fend for myself.

"aye, ugh, want me to walk you to your place? I've got nothin' better to do" he said.  "Well i sort of don't really have a 'place' to go to" i said looking down playing with my nails.  "So you just showed up to New York with no plans I'm just gonna take a wild guess" he said "Well i guess so i wasn't really thinking" i couldn't look him in the eyes when i said this, he just coldly stare at me.  "Well you can stay with me... well my friend Mark, he let's me crash at his place whenever I need to" Dallas said.  I looked up "Wait are you serious, that's so nice." He looked at me strait in the eyes and said "I'm never nice, but anyways what's your story.  Why'd you decide to come to the 'wild' side of New York." I can tell he made the word wild more emphasized.

"Well" i stared saying, "I was getting abused by my father after my mother left for a couple years and I've had enough.  He took it too far and I couldn't handle it much longer.  I packed up some stuff and ran to the bus and just fell asleep.  And now I'm here, walking with you in New York"
"Where you from anyways?" he asked.  "I'm from New Jersey" i said "aye not too far from here".  He said with a laugh.  "Well tell me your story Mr. Dallas Winston"  He looked at me weird (I guess he forgot I'm not from here)  "Well I lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma for about five years or so then I moved here like i don't know about seven, eight, maybe even nine years ago." He has a thick New York accent and a low, raspy-ish voice. It was really sexy. He continued "I'm basically known as the worst hood in all of New York and Oklahoma.  That's about all I'll share with ya" he finished.

Then there was a pause of silence while we were walking but it didn't feel awkward, it just felt normal.  He broke the silence by saying "How old are you anyway?" he asked out of no where.  "Sixteen" i said, "oh cool i'm seventeen" he replied.

We finally arrive at Mark's.  I could finally see him in the light. Damn he's hot as fuck. I said inside my head.  "Aye, you're a good lookin' broad" he said.  "why thank you, you're not to bad yourself" I said laughing.  We walked inside.
