Chapter 7: Meeting

(Y/n)'s POV:

I felt the sun touching the top of my eyelids. I opened my eyes slowly. For some reason everything around me was really warm. I looked down and saw a blanket on me,it felt soft. The sun was rising now and i can tell that it did pretty fast.

It was quiet, only the birds were singing. I looked to my left and my eyes widened. Someone was sleeping beside me. He had those messy hair and pale skin...and then i realized....Yesterday! Last night i slept on his hand while i was caught in his grip. I started to shake,my sweat was becoming harder. I wanted to scream,i wanted to say something,but... the only thing that came out of my mouth was a loud gasp.

Hatter's POV:

While i was sleeping i heard a loud gasp. I opened my eyes, to face a tiny terrified (Y/n). She had froze. Her lips were trembling, her eyes were wide opened and i could tell that she was quite shaky. I watched her as tears fell down her beautiful face. I decided to make her feel better. I hate it when i see her sad, it just ruins my attitude. I smiled at her "Good morning" i whispered.  Her face seemed quite confused. "How are you feeling?" I whispered again more softly. She furrowed her eyebrows and she started to curl her fingers. "It's okay..." i said. "I promise i won't hurt you". I reached my hand to rub her on her back,.... she didn't move which that eased me.

I always thought that my appearance made everyone frightened. Everyone but (Y/n)...when she was little, she accepted me the way i looked...but now she seems like she's afraid. "Now tell me...How are you feeling?" I asked once again. She looked down for a moment....then she opened her mouth to speak but she was cut off by a sound on the door.

I looked up. Someone was knocking. Who would knock my door? Mally always opens the door with a slight push and a struggle and the March Hare...well, he booms inside whenever he wants...but now? I looked down at (Y/n). I stood up and picked her up carefully not to hurt her. I added one of my hands infront of (Y/n) so i could hide her. "Come in" i called out at the door with a little curiousity. The door opened and Chessur floated in. "Oh it's you..." i said with a bored tone in my voice, while i released my hand off (Y/n). "My my, have you misunderstood something dear?" Said Chessur as he looked at (Y/n) with a smile. "What are you talking about?" I asked raising an eyebrow. "We agreed that we will see you in the morning Hatter, i mean, today....but it seems that someone didn't keep her promise" he responded with a smirk. I looked down at (Y/n). "Naughty..." i mumbled smiling. She looked down. "But it's okay" i said. She looked back at me. "At least we met each other"

(Y/n) POV:

So HE was the Hatter? I smiled. He didn't want to hurt me at all. He was really nice and gentle with me. "What's the problem after all?" Asked the Hatter. "I'm just a little curious..." Chessur responded. The Hatter smirked "Chessur...you know what they say about the curiousity and the cat". I giggled. Chessur narrowed his eyes and then vanished in the air. "Well..." said the Hatter. "If you don't remember me...let me introduce myself!" He said in a cheerful tone and placed me down on the bed. He stood up. "I am the Hatter! That's how everyone calls me...but you can call me Tarrant as well, that's my name" he said removing his hat and did a little bow. I smiled. He is so cheerful...he looked back at me placing his hat on his head again. Those eyes..."I see that you are quite hurt" he said with a sad look on his face while his eyes changed into a blue colour...How!? "I can help you with that...and maybe change your size...". I nodded. He smiled and he placed his hand on the bed so i could hop on. I stood up and sat on his palm.

He carried me to another room and placed me on a desk.
