Chapter 12: Mad love

After (y/n) met the Red Queen's slaves and servants she went for a walk on the red garden.

Her mind was full of thoughts
'How will i find the Hatter or...how will i kill that monster called Jabberwocky...how am i gonna exit this castle...more basically...How will i exit this mad place...'. Suddenly a hand touched her back and her thoughts were cut. (Y/n) jumped in surprise.

"Aww...did i scare you beautiful?~" said the voice behind her. It was Stayne the Knave of Hearts. (Y/n) gulped. She really didn't like that guy..."What are you doing in here? Are you looking for company?" Stayne said almost in a whisper. (Y/n) shivered at his whisper. "Um...actually no..." she said a little nervous. She might be now taller than him but she still was scared of that guy. "Then how about you start looking for company?" The Knave said with a smirk. "I-i...don't..." (Y/n) started but was cut with the Knave's chuckle. "Oh really?~" he turned her around to face him. His eyes were filled with guilty that made (Y/n) shiver. "Aw what's wrong lassy? You are scared of me?" (Y/n) avoided to do eye contact with this monster. His voice was somehow deep and soft. His black hair were let down as usual and his black and red eye patch was covering his eye scar. (Y/n) wanted to run away. But she couldn't...fear winned her body. Stayne added his thumb under her chin to force her to look at him. "I like you Um." He said as he pinned her on the stone wall of the castle. "I like largeness" Stayne went near her lips for a kiss.  

(Y/n) couldn't take it. She was disgussed by the creature. She glared at him and gave him a good push. "Go away from me!" And with that she ran away. The  Knave just stood there watching her running.

(Y/n) continued running until she fell on something...or maybe someone. Both of them fell on the ground."AUCH" (Y/n) exclaimed as she rubbed her head. "Oh sorry i didn't see yo-..." the voice said but it suddenly stopped. "(Y/n)?" The voice sounded familiar. (Y/n) looked up to see the Hatter. He was wearing some red clothes-probably given by the red queen- but his top hat was missing. "Hatter!" (Y/n) exclaimed as she stood up and hugged the Hatter. Hatter just blushed. "(Y-Y/n) what are you doing in here, you silly girl?" He said as he hugged her back. She let go. "I came here to rescue you!" (Y/n) said as she looked at Hatter with a proud look on her face. Hatter smiled and sighed. "You didn't need to do that...you know that the Red Queen might-" he started but was cut off by (y/n) "I know, i know...she is looking for me..." (y/n) said with a nervous tone as she remembered who she really is. That is not Um from Umbridge.
Hatter smiled and added a hand on her shoulder "Worry not (Y/n)! I won't let her harm you" he calmed her down and she smiled. He looked at her blushing a little. "Wow...you are huge" that made (Y/n) blush and she looked away. Hatter chuckled. (Y/n) looked around. Suddenly she noticed something in the corner of her eye. It was Hatter's top hat. She went over and picked up. She then placed it on Hatter's head and he smiled. Hatter looked at (y/n). He looked like he wanted to say something but he kept it for his heart. He just smiled and (Y/n) smiled back. "You look like yourself again" (y/n) said. That made Hatter smile even more. Suddenly they both jumped as they heard the Red Queen's voice screaming. "HAT MAN WHERE ARE MY HATS!?" she sounded pissed off. Hatter just sighed. "I got to go" he said. "Or she is going to kill me".
"Yea...sure" (y/n) said. "See ya later sweetheart" he said with a smile as he started to run for the castle...but then he stopped and turned to face her.

"Um...(y/n)...there's something you need to know"he said and he went a little closer to (y/n). (Y/n) listened carefully. "They told me  that the blade is in the castle. The rabbit knows where it is. Find it. Take it to the White Queen" he whispered. "We'll go to the White Queen altogether!" (Y/n) corrected him. "Why is it you're always too small...or too tall?" He said smiling at her. She smiled back and went off to find the white rabbit....again.
