Chapter 9: the Mad Tea Party

After the healing process, (Y/n) felt much better... the Hatter also had made her a dress. It was really beautiful! (Y/n) had no doubt that it was going to be so pretty...

(Y/n) was now full of energy! The Hatter also suggested her to join him, the March Hare and Mally to their tea party. And of course (y/n) accepted!
It was a beatiful day and the sun was shinning bright in the blue sky. (Y/n) sat next to the Hatter, as Mally and Hare sat to other seats, far from (y/n) and Hatter. Mally wasn't in a good attitude but the March Hare was really crazy and he threw tea cups everywhere causing everyone to duck. (Y/n) giggled at this. "(Y/n)...solve me this..." said Hatter while leaning close to (y/n). "Have you any idea why a raven is like a writting desk?" (Y/n) frowned at that. "Downal wyth the bloddy bigh hid!" he said then with a mad voice. (Y/n) couldn't help but get really confused..."Excuse me?" She asked. "Down with the bloody big head..." expained Chessur, who was sitting at the end of the table. "Bloody big head is the Red Queen". "Oh..." (y/n) responded. "One or two sugar cubes dear?" Asked the Hatter. "Erm, maybe two" she answered. Hatter smiled. He loved tea parties. Especially when he was with his (y/n). Even though he was sad at the fact that she didn't remember anything....the times that they spent together when she was younger....he sighed. But then he lost his control...his eyes turned red and he looked furious. (Y/n) noticed him...she frowned as she felt her heart pounding fast. The Hatter murmured something but (y/n) couldn't understand what he was saying. She added her hand on his arm "Hatter...." she said in a quiet voice. "Are you alright?" She asked. Hatter's eyes turned back to normal. He turned to face her with a confused look. After a while he responded "I-I'm fine" he looked away. (Y/n) backed away from him a little. "What happened to you Tarrant?" Said Chessur who seemed noticing Hatter's angry look. "The last time i saw you happy it was that old time...when you were the best at Futterwacken in all of Witzend." Hatter smiled, remembering his old memories. "Futter-what?" Asked (y/n). "FUTTERWACKEN!!" Said the March Hare in a funny way throughing a spoon on the table. "It's a dance..." explained Mally who didn't seem to care that much. "On the day that you will kill the Jabberwocky..." March Hare started to say. "The Frabjous Day..." Chessur corrected him. "Yes on the...Frabjous Day...when the White Queen will take back her crown..." said the Hatter. "On that day...i shall Futterwacken...vigorously" for the first time Mally laughed. Suddenly everyone heard a noise from where Chessur was sitting. It sounded like a horse. "Oh no!" Said the March Hare looking at the distance behind Chessur. He jumped and hid behind him. "Oh...dear" said Chessur looking at the distance where the March Hare was looking at. Mally gasped "The Knave..." he whispered. "Goodbye..."said Chessur as he vanished in the air. March Hare jumped back to his seat. "Who is he?" Asked (y/n). "Quickly!!! Hide her!" Said the March Hare to the Hatter. "How??" Mally said almost in a loud voice. "Where can she hide in that size of hers?" Asked Mally. Hatter thought for a moment, but then he widened his eyes. He slowly turned his head and looked at (y/n). (Y/n) shook her head...she knew what Hatter was thinking. "No,no,no not again!" She said. "Come on we don't have enough time" said the Hatter as he searched his pockets for the Pishsavler. "No!" Exclaimed (y/n) as she stood up ready to run away. "Quickly!!! HIDE HER" Excalimed the March Hare. Hatter stood up and he reached for (y/n)'s hand and he successfully grabbed her as he pulled her. (Y/n) fell from Hatter's strength. "Let go...!" (Y/n) screamed "I'm sorry.." said the Hatter and he gave her the Pishsavler to drink it. She drunk it and began to shrink. Her clothes were huge once again...though they covered her body "Oh dear..." said Mally. (Y/n) looked up at the Hatter "Please no..." she sqeaked. Hatter grabbed her gently "Please, no..." (y/n) screamed once again. "Hush..." the Hatter whispered to her as he placed her in his pocket and gave a crazy smile to the Knave that he was enough close now. "Let me out!!" (Y/n) screamed. "Shh..." Hatter hushed her. (Y/n) couldn't help but stop screaming, when she heard a new voice speaking. "Well...if it is not my favourite trio..of the 'looneyatics' " said the Knave with a fake smile. He was really tall, taller than the Hatter, around two and a half metres tall. His eyes were black as his right eye was covered with a black eye patch shaped in a heart. His hair were long and black and his suite was black as well. He looked like a Knight...the Knave of Hearts worked for the Red Queen and he was a really evil person. The Queen was in love with him..,but he never loved her. He actually hated her..."Will you join for a cup of tea?" Said Mally with a smirk. The Knave laughed. "You are all late for tea!!" Said tge March Hare as he threw a cup on the Knave. He ducked then looked at him evily. The Hare laughed as Mally giggled. The Knave looked at the Hatter. "Hello Hat-Man" he said with a smirk. Hatter didn't respond. "You know me and my army are looking for a girl...called... (Y/n)!" (Y/n)'s heart started to pound fast when she heard her name...' This is a weird dream for sure...'she thought. Hatter gave him a smile. "Oh really...?" He said. "Yes.." said the Knave. "And if you give her to me the Queen would be really happy you know..." he said with a smirk. The Hatter laughed loudly, so loud that (y/n) had to cover her ears. "She has feelings??" Hatter asked madly. The Knave grabbed him from his neck. "If you are hiding her...you will all lose your heads.." said the Knave with the most evil smile of his. (Y/n) gasped...now she understood why the Hatter had hid her..."Already lost them..." said the Hatter and everyone laughed. "Oh! Speaking of the Red Queen here's a song to sing for her honor" he continued as everyone started to sing.

The Knave ignored them as he released the Hatter from his grip. But he didn't notice that ,when he released Hatter's neck, he did it with all his strength that caused (y/n) to lose her balance and she fell off from Hatter's pocket. Now she was sitting on Hatter's legs. At least the Knave didn't notice her...but someone else did. Something was crawling under the table...Hatter felt the table shaking and just then a dog came out of it and it sat infront of Hatter's legs. It was Bayard...Bayard the Bloodhound. (Y/n) backed away. Hatter looked down and saw that the dog started to smell (y/n)...Bayard showed his teeth to Hatter. But then he understood that he was searching for (y/n) to give her to the Knave...Hatter added one of his hands in front of (y/n) so he wouldn't catch her or grab,her or even bite her. "Down with the bloody big head" he whispered to the dog. Bayard quickly stopped showing his teeth to him and nodded. He wouldn't stop it if he wasn't against the Red Queen. The Bloodhound just attended to the orders of hers so he can free his wife and pups. Bayard sighed and left the table. He went to another distance and started to bark so the Knights would follow him. "Follow the Bloodhound" ordered the Knave....they listened to him and they went to follow the Blodhound. The Kanve started to leave but then he turned around to them and said. "You are all mad!" He smirked. "Oh,Thanks very much!" The March Hare responded with a laugh. The Knave left angrily the tea party....a sigh of relief came out of (y/n) and Hatter. Suddenly Chessur appeared again. "Well...at least he is gone" he said said with a smile as he looked at (y/n) and Hatter. "Do you always have to vanish when something bad is going to happen?" Asked Hatter a little annoyed from Chessur's appearance. "No, i just..." the Cat started to say but he was cut off by the Hatter. "You just what?" He said angrily. "You always vanish just when everything doesn't seem alright... like that time...you left everyone to save your own skin! Some people died because you left them! You don't even care about anyone... you just want to seem like the wise cat, with the large grin that encounters someone and wants to lead him to a destination....Always the same, like never before!" He shouted at him as his eyes turned to an orange shade. Chessur wanted to say something but he didn't... he just looked down on the ground sadly as he sighed and slowly dissapeared. (Y/n) frowned at the Hatter. What did he mean by saving his own skin...? By who..? And when exactly was that time..? Mally sighed. "Luckily the Bloodhound is one of us..." she changed the subject. "What do they want from me?" Asked (y/n). "We shall take her to the White queen she will be safe there!...spoon" said the March Hare. Hatter gabbed (y/n) and placed her in a teapot. Then he took a piece of her clothes and made her a small dress. "Try this, it should fit with your size" and he gave the clothe to her. (Y/n) quickly changed and knocked on the teapot to warn the Hatter that she was ready. He picked her out of the teapot and placed her on the table. He then looked at her and said. "I like it" he smiled. (Y/n) liked it too. "Whatever...take her to the White Queen now..." said Mally a little annoyed and jealous of (y/n). Hatter took of his hat "Your carriage my lady" he said. "The hat?" (Y/n) chuckled. "Of course.." said the Hatter. "Everyone here wants to travel by the horse or on a rat...but the best way to travel is by the hat" (okay...i may changed it a little 😃) "Have i made rhyme?" Asked the Hatter as (y/n) sat on the hat ,still not sure if she should trust him. "Well Fairfaireen all!" He said with a smile as he stood up from the table. "Wait! You..." said the March Hare and with a struggle he threw a tea cup to the Hatter. The Hatter ducked while smiling and the March Hare fell from his chair while laughing. (God did i made a rhyme? 😂😂)
