Time Travel and Snow

Time travel. Snow. Ice.

Three beautiful things I had control over.

The snow and ice was common in my family. My mom and dad both coincidentally have ice powers. My twin sis Ella and my cousin Elson also have these cool (no pun intended) ice powers.

What made me unique was my time travel powers.

I could be a troll if I wanted. I had the magical powers of one.

Now the time travel I posses isn't like what your thinking. I just call it that cause I don't know what else to call it. That and time travel sounds cooler. Not as cool as my ice powers though. (pun fully intended)

The time powers I have allow me to look back at the past, or future. Literally. I could look at a specific memory of anyone.

I could also freeze all time except for me. Time could be at a stand still and I could move around. I could also allow certain people I chose to move around. There was one problem with my powers.

I had issues looking into the future.

This was why I was ok with purposely isolating myself from everyone else. I was always to busy perfecting my future looking powers. They were not only difficult but also frustrating. Just when I thought I had them right, I was completely wrong.

Maybe the future is just too complex? I don't know, but until I figure them out I am stuck here trying to ease my frustration and figure them out.

I don't usually notice what's going on in the family because I am so busy with this power stuff. Maybe that's a bad thing, but I'm not entirely sure.

Though I'd say our family is doing just fine so there's nothing to worry about.

Every once in a while (and I mean a long while) I would hang with Anastasia.

Anastasia (most of us call her Ana, just because it's shorter) is my little sister. I mean, technically I'm older than Ella by about 30 seconds, but we're still technically twins, so yeah.

Sometimes, I would see her, looking lonelier than ever, and I would hang out with her. That was a REALLY long time ago. I'm 15 now, and she's about 13. She hangs around Ella now anyways (which she also did a lot when we were kids), or at least I think she does.

Ella is an up and down person though. Ana used to explain to me how one day her and Ella were best buddies and the next day they... weren't. And I always had the same answer.

"Don't worry Ana. Maybe it isn't you. Ella may just be going through something hard in her life and just needs some alone time. If there's anything I've learned it's that time heals everything."

"Thanks Jake. Your the best big bro ever!"
