Luke

"LUCAS" you screamed at your best friend.

"MY NAME IS NOT LUCAS (Y/F/N)" He yelled back. He had picked you up, and threw behind his back.

"Cute butt Lucas." You said pinching it a bit.

"Don't touch my butt!"

"How can I not if its in my face!" You said, then pinched his butt once again.

"Would you like me to put you down?" he asked.

"Please. " You pleaded.

"Only if you say, Luke Robert Hemmings is the most sexiest person in the world, and I love him." he said, squeezing your legs.

"I'm not saying that! I don't like lying to people. "

You said. But all of that is true. You thought to yourself. You see, you've had this huge crush on your best friend, Luke, since you were 10 years old. You're now 17. Over the years your feelings have grown stronger, and stronger. By the time you were 16, you had come to realize that this wasn't a crush no more, you were madly in loce with you're best friend. The only problem was, Luke had a girlfriend. A very snobby and bad one at that. She cheats on Luke all the time, but he is so clueless. You've wanted so many times to tell him this information, but she made him happy and you didn't want to ruin that for him. After all, you did love him.

"Well then, I guess you aren't getting down then!" he replied in a sing - song voice.

"Lucifer I will scream rape if you don't put me down." You said while hitting his back repeatedly.

"Don't call me that!" he whined.

"Then put me down!" You screamed back.

"Ok whatever you say..." he then just dropped you to the floor.

"Ow Luke! What the hell?" You said rubbing your head.

"You said put you down! So I did!" he said, then covered his mouth while he let out a small giggle.

"You're a jerk Luke." You said while getting up from off the floor and walking away from him.

"Hey! Where are you going?"

"Away from you, you meany." You then walked away from him to a nearby fountain. You watched as the water shot out of it, and back in with a splash. Kids were running around it, getting wet and playing tag. You remember when you and Luke used run around the same fountain playing tag. You'd get so excited when the water came out and made a rainbow. You remember one time, when you and Luke were playing tag at about age 10, Luke was it, and you had ran over to this fountain only to be soaked by it from the water shooting out. You're clothes were soaked so Luke gave you his Ninja Turtle sweater so you weren't cold. That's when you knew you had a little crush on him.

You then felt a little tap on your shoulder. You turned around to see Luke looking down at you, with his hands behind his back and a small smile on his face that brought out his dimples.

"I'm sorry I dropped you on the floor." He said, then handed you a small amount of dandelions he must've just picked. "Forgive me?"

"Yeah, you're forgiven." he then gave you a big hug. You always loved his hugs. He made his hands into fists, and rested his head on yours. He smelled nice too. You began to pull away, but he held on tighter.

"Luke, you're squishing me."

"I don't want to let go though. Can we stay like this forever?"

"I wish we can Luke, I really want to, but we need to move away from the fountain so we don't get wet."

"Ok, can we go over by the tree then?" He asked as he pulled away, but held your arms. You nodded and he began to pull you towards the tree. He sat down and pulled you down with him, so you were in between his legs. Your back pressed to his chest with his arms around you. You rested against his back and began picking at the dandelions he gave you. You smiled at how adorable he was for giving you them.

"(Y/N)?" Luke called out to you.

"Yes Luke?"

"Thanks for being there when no one else is."

"You're my best friend Luke. Its what I'm here for." He rested his head on your shoulder, then kissed your cheek. Your cheeks immediately heat up so you looked down.

"I know, but I jut feel like I don't thank you enough. "

"You don't need to thank me."

"That's one reason I love you, you're so understanding." You stiffened at the word love. Luke has said he loved you many times, but you know he says it in a friendly way. Unlike how you say it. You're actually in love with him.

"I love you too Luke." It then went silent. You can hear Luke breathing from how close he is to you. You can feel his hear beat against your chest. You can feel him. Luke. He then broke the silence.

"No, I don't think you understand. "

"What do you mean?"

"Dammit, I love you!"

"And I love you too, but I don't see what's not to understand." You were utterly confused.

"I mean, I'm in love with you. Like, love love. Not best friend love, but boyfriend and girlfriend love! I can't act like you're just my friend anymore! Because you're so much more than that. You're so much more." he whispered the last part. He was no longer holding you. His back was against the tree now and his head was in his hands. You turned around more so you can see him.

"What? You, you're in love with me?" You asked with pure confusion on your face. "But you have a girlfriend, and she makes you happy, and you love her. But, you love me?"

"We broke up yesterday. She wasn't who I thought she was. I didn't love her. I love you. And I probably just scared you. Now you're not going to talk to me anymore. And you're going to hate me and think I'm a weirdo and-"

"Luke, I love you too. Like, love love you." You said.

"Dammit I knew I sca- wait what did you say?"

"I'm in love with you Luke."

"You are?" he whispered, getting closer to you like it was a secret. You nodded. A huge smile then spread across his face, causing his dimples to poke out. He pulled you into a huge hug, the ones you adore the most. He pulled back and whispered something incoherent. He smiled again, then rested his forehead on yours.

"You love me." he whispered, then placed his lips on yours. They were everything you thought they were. His lips were soft, yet rough at the same time. They moved perfectly with yours. The kiss wasn't out of hunger or lust. It was out of pure love. You pulled away and smiled at him, your eyes still closed.

"You love me." he said again.

"And you love me."
