You walk in your bathroom, having to use it since you and your boyfriend, Michael, had gone for a walk and you had a lot of water to drink. After doing your business you look in the mirror to see a little fortune taped onto it.
"Stop searching forever, happiness is just next to you."
Confused you walk into your room to ask Michael if he put it up. You go to turn the light on and there's the same little fortune taped on the switch. You turn the light on to see one taped on the window. Following what it says you turn to your right to see Michael is next to you, on one knee with a little red box. Your hand immediately goes to your mouth as tears form in your eyes.
"(Y/N) we've been together for almost 2 years. And let me tell you its been the best 2 damn years of my life. I know sometimes I'm a dick and I stay inside all the time but I still love you. I can't wait until we're old and wrinkly and we'll be screaming lyrics to Green Day like we do now because we don't let people tell us what to do. I love you so much baby, will you marry me?" He says with tears brimming his and a hopeful look on his face. Tears are falling freely down your cheeks as you nod vigorously.
"Yes! Yes I'll marry you!" You say. He jumps up and pulls you into a hug, then pulled back to kiss you. You two laugh when he drops the ring while trying to put it on your finger. He finally puts it on your finger.
"I love you so much (Y/N)."
"I love you so much to Michael."
