Essence rolled her eyes at the downright pouring rain, as it beat against her car's window. She exhaled slowly as she put her car in park in front of her club, not feeling like being bothered. Something felt off. She looked through the time; 12:11PM.
Suddenly, someone ran towards her car in the rain; black hoodie, black pants. In one swift motion, they smashed their hand through the window and Essence didn't have too much time to react.
A gun pointed at her head as they dripped in rain. Essence moved her hand around under the middle section between the passenger seat and the driver's.
"Don't move." A feminine deep voice spat out.
All Essence could think was where is security? But they were nowhere to be found. Why does this feel like a setup?
Essence looked up at the gun, noticing long, acrylic nails. She opened her mouth to talk but the person squeezed on the trigger twice, sending two bullets into her brain.
"Payback, hoe."
