"She is a mermaid, but approach her with caution. Her mind swims at a depth, most would drown in."

. . .

The next day is when everything really got busy.

Over thirty-thousand wolves had been moved to the Blood Moon Territory. The only positive thing was that the large pack and its territory was capable of containing many, many more wolves. Only half of the wolves who had traveled were war wolves and would undergo the physical training that was going to happen. The men and women who were not war wolves would undergo medical training and food management. There was more to war than just the fighting. Not only that but their training grounds alone were spacious enough to train over five-thousand wolves comfortably.

Said grounds was just where the Blood Moon Alpha was. She had a dozen of her war wolves and over three thousand wolves currently in front of her. Julian and Zylen, her top war wolves and closest friends, stood nearby, waiting for their Alpha's direction.

"All females move to the right and all males to the left." Bodies scurried around as they desperately tried to move without angering the she-wolf.

Eli wasn't in a good mood from the news she had woken up to this morning. And everyone could feel it.

"The vampires have already begun training and should be moving into the Blood Moon territory by the end of the week. You have to get your wolves trained enough to last against some of their newborns."  Rovena stated, stressing her last sentence. It would not be wise to ignore the female vampire, for if the wolves weren't trained enough then the vampires would have a hard time accepting the fact that they were on the same side.

To be ready to fight against newborn vampires would take longer than a week, but she had no choice.

"For the next two days, you will be fighting within your genders to improve on your skills thus far. Do not be offended if my war wolves step in to guide your training. You are here to learn and not to feed you ego. I do not care if you were the top war wolf in your pack. I can guarantee you have much to learn in comparison to my wolves." She glared at them.

It was not surprising when fights broke out because of egos when it came to wolves. Wolves were prideful creatures and did not take getting beaten by another pack's wolf lightly. But they would have to put aside their differences to learn how to defend themselves better.

The rogues were not wolves and vampires to be taken lightly. They were rabid creatures who had lost all semblance of humanity and fought with the intent to kill and dominate. They wanted revenge on the packs and clans for exiling them, for the most part. The witches were on their side just because they wanted to rule over the supernatural kind.

Eli continued, "In the next five minutes, you will be divided into teams. By the end of the two days within your genders, you will be fighting each other in a game of capture the flag."

"That is child's play! We came here to learn how to fight, not how to play games!" A man growled out. Others looked around wary but agreeing with the man who spoke out.

She silenced the crowd with a growl.

"As I have said before, you are here to learn. You are here to learn from the Blood Moon Pack, which is what is happening right now. We use these games as a way to simulate the attacking a defending ways of war and protecting your territory. If you wish not to learn and participate in the training that is being set out for you, you are welcome to join the others learning how to bandage wounds and cook meals."
