Chapter 5

Sarah's POV

4 am calltime. Everybody was busy preparing for the shoot.  Direk Mae wanted to shoot during the early morning sun so we quickly moved to the fields area.  Gerald came out of his room just as I was leaving our room.  "Good morning, Sarah! Are you ready?" he said with a smile.

"Yes, ready na." I answered back.

Napaka gentleman niya talaga.  All the way to the fields, he was holding my elbows to make sure that I don't fall into the mud.  He even held the umbrella for me while walking.  Bah, mistulang escort/bodyguard ang dating and not leading man.  Dyan mo talaga makikita kung gaano kabait ang isang tao. Sana naman di lang nagpapa-pogi.  Weh, e kanino naman magpapapogi yon diba? Besides, pogi na talaga siya; no doubt about it.  Kung sa looks lang eh 10+ na sya hands down.

Kinausap muna kami ni Direk Mae and gave instructions on the scene. I was supposed to taunt Gerald while walking along a narrow path on the fields because he was taking so long.  End of the scene, Gerald had to take off his white shirt.

Ay, grabe, grabe na talaga ito.  Di ko ata kakayanin.  Wah! Help me, Papa God! 

First take, inasar ko na ng todo si Gerald until mahulog siya sa putik at nadumihan ang kanyang shirt.  When he took off his shirt, naku po, nanlaki ata ang mga ko kasi biglang sumigaw ng cut si Direk Mae.  E paano naman ano, may mga pan de sal.  Paano ba yan! Gwapo na, maganda pa ang katawan. Over na to!

I have to be discreet na parang di naman ako affected, but sa totoo lang, nate tense ako.  After a few takes, Direk said they got the shot so we went to the tent to review the takes.  And true enough, buking nga!  You could see that my eyes grew bigger on the first take when Gerald took his shirt off. 

Naramdaman ko na lang na may kumalabit sa kili-kili ko.  Paglingon ko, I saw Gerald smiling at me with a twinkle in his eye.  He whispered, "Uuuuyyy, nakita ko yon.  Nanlaki ang mga mata mo! Did you like what you saw?" he asked teasingly.

"Nyek, ewan ko sa yo anong sinasabi mo ano.  I was just trying to keep my eyes open kasi bigla akong inantok." I answered defensively, but I could see that he didn't believe me and he was getting more amused.

"O, sige sabi mo eh. Basta ako, may evidence ako! haha!"  he answered back with defiance.

Grrrr... baka di na ako tantanan niyan at tuluyan akong asarin.  Sabihin pa crush ko siya. E nagulat lang naman ako. Di ko akalain na ganyan pala siya ka-buff.  I've seen sina Sam Milby, Piolo Pascual and other boys in ASAP without their shirts on, but this was different.   Gerald's winning smile together with the six pack was a deadly combination.  Talagang chick boy to and he knows it.

The next scene was when the both of us would have a mini wrestling match in the mud.  He would pull me into the fields until I fall and I end up pulling him with me.  This part was a bit fun kasi talagang lokohan at parang laro lang ang ginawa namin. 

Nung unang try, he pulled a little too hard and I ended up bumping against him with my hands falling flat on his bare chest. You could see that he was having a grand time teasing me, raising his eyebrows up and down with a grin on his face.  "Ingat, Sarah ha, baka mahalata ka na niyan. hehe"

"Ikaw kaya.  Ang lakas-lakas ng hila mo no. Enjoy na enjoy kang lokohin ako." sagot ko.

"Oo nga, ang sarap mong lokohin.  Lalo na kapag para kang natataranta; you look so adorable. Papisil nga ng pisngi mo." sabay kurot sa pisngi ko.

Natawa na lang ako then I stuck my tongue out.

We finished around lunchtime and the sun was really hot.  We were told that we could have a few hours to rest since they have to set up for the next scene which was going to be shot at night.
