Getting washed and ready for the day with Sarah became a normal thing to me and her now. It was regular. She started to sleep with me almost every night except from the nights where she had to hunt. I came out of my bathroom into my bedroom to find Sarah already ready.
"We have to go to out today" she said
"Why?" I asked
"Drake wants to talk to you..."
"About what?"
"I don't know, I just read his mind and-"
"What! You can read minds"
"Yeah, all vampires can read each others minds, we just can't read humans"
"oh...well, when do you want to go?"
"Do you mind if we go now?"
"Yeah that's fine"
"Okay, I'll be in the car"
She kissed me on the check and jumped out the window down to the car. I ran down stairs and opened the front door. My mom insisted to kiss me before I went, so she did. I ran to the car and got in. I stated to drive away slowly. The car was failing me...as I expected. Sarah told me where to go and that we had to be fast. I drove quickly to the abandoned warehouse where we had to met. Once there, we got out the car and entered the dirty looking building. We went in holding hands and staying close to each other. In there I seen Drake, Faye, Ryan and Charlie all standing together. We stopped a few meters away from them. Drake stepped forward.
"If he is going to know about us, he is going to be one of us!" he yelled
The tension in the warehouse rose and everybody was looking at me.
"No! That's not happening Drake! He promised he would never do anything to expose us to the world. We are safe!" Sarah said
"Are you...together?" Faye said
"Yeah!" Sarah answered
"Leave them Drake" Faye said while grabbing Drake's hand and pulling him away
Sarah and I ran out the warehouse and when outside we laughed. She walked in front of me and backed up up against the wall and kissed me. It was perfect. Then Faye appeared next to us.
"Faye!" Sarah said to Faye
"You, don't do anything to make Drake mad because he will come for you" Faye pointed at me
"I promise" I said
"Good"
And in a second she was gone. Sarah kissed me one more time until telling me she loves me. I was scared to come here but I felt relaxed after it, I felt like I belonged there. I felt like it was a dream I was having and believe me, after that kiss I really did pinch myself.
