Most of you were confused about the previous chapter. Miley doesn't know that Selena and Justin are sleeping together. She's just upset that Selena lied to her about Nick and the dinner and Selena's upset because Miley hasn't told her about her secret boy and when she found out it was Justin, she got upset and guarded because even though she hates admitting it, she's become attached to Justin. ;) HAHA, anyways, onto the story.

Selena tried to keep up her falsetto as she narrowed her eyes at Justin for a slight moment, but even she couldn't ignore the fact that her heartbeat was at an uneven fast pace. Her eyes traveled down to the smirk that was still on his face. She rolled her eyes at him and, holding her head high, she walked past him and into the lobby.

"Hey, now." She heard Justin say behind her. She knew that he was on her tail so she quickened her walk and quickly pressed the elevator button. To her luck, it opened fairly briskly and she stepped in quickly, only to have fingers that weren't hers enclose around her wrist slightly and pull her to a stop. Selena turned around to find Justin right in the elevator with her. As she tried to sidestep him to walk out of the elevator, the doors closed, leaving her groaning in silence and banging the elevator doors slightly with her fist.

Once she turned around, Justin stood right in front of her forcing her to retreat a step. Her back was now pressed against the elevator doors. This didn't stop Justin from taking another step closer and placing his hands on both sides of Selena, securing her in her spot for good.

His honey golden eyes bored into Selena's richer, chocolate ones. "Why are you ignoring me?"

Selena fought the urge to look into his eyes, but she couldn't. His dark brown lashes were falling into the light irises and his body was extremely close to hers. She realized she was getting distracted by him but she knew to him, he'd just see it as her hesitating. "I thought you'd get the message after today..."

He let out a soft air of breath as he laughed slightly. "That I'd ignore you after I saw you with Nick?" He shook his head and leaned in closer to Selena, lowering one of his arms from the side. "You knew I wouldn't ignore you after that, right?"

He chuckled again, this time his hot breath hitting the side of Selena's cheek. "You knew it'd get me frustrated," he pulled his head up to Selena's level and looked into her eyes. "And that I'd end up... here." He looked down at their bodies pressed together before meeting his eyes back up with Selena's. "Right?" His lips tugged into a sly smile.

Selena's breath was uneven. Even if she wanted to look away from him, she couldn't. And she also couldn't say that what Justin had just said wasn't true. That would be her lying. And isn't life too short to live in a world full of lies?

Before she could shake her head in an attempt to argue, a small 'bing' chimed through the elevator and the doors opened. Selena's heart skipped a beat as she felt nothing behind her back anymore, and the weight of Justin in front of her was too much to hold.

It instantly propelled her backwards toward the floor ground and she closed her eyes to feel the ground against her back, but instead she felt strong arms wrap around her waist.

She was hoisted in midair with Justin staring down at her. Except he wasn't smirking, or laughing. His face was blank, and he was looking straight at her. Right into her eyes. It was as if he was looking through her. She felt invisible, yet like the spotlight was on her and she had no room to escape. She knew that even if she tried to speak, nothing would come out from her mouth. She didn't notice before, but her arms were wrapped around him, clenched onto his shirt.

Slowly, he pulled her up toward him. They were standing in the middle of the hallway. He didn't let go of her, instead he pulled her closer. Selena closed her eyes as if they were an instinctive procedure of what was happening. She felt the gentle touch of his fingertips on her cheek before feeling his lips on hers.

This time, the kiss they shared was different. It set off a billion explosions in her stomach and made her weak right in his arms. It was the type of kiss that was slow and aware; so soft that it's touch traveled into the depths of Selena's thoughts, lighting up the darkest corners that held inside her.

It was lifting her soul and she felt his. She felt his soul too. It brought the essence of losing her like one would be lost in Wonderland.

She forgot about time, and that's why she didn't realize that when they pulled away from each other, she was crying.
