Chapter 40

Selena woke up to the heavy scent of bacon and eggs mixed with spinach and mushrooms. Due to this, her stomach was already groaning for food as she turned on her side, tangled in the sheets. She eyed the familiar room as the golden rays shone through the windows. A smile forced its way onto her face as she got out of bed and slipped on a tight fitting black tank-top. She let her legs breath with the black lingerie piece she was wearing.

After going to the bathroom to make herself look alive, she stepped out of the room and made her way into the opening of the penthouse where she found Justin busy at work in the open kitchen, showing off his culinary skills-- shirtless. Selena let out a small giggle as she crossed her arms and walked over to him, making her presence known.

"So is this is a daily thing?"Justin turned around and instantly smiled.

"Morning, beautiful." He chuckled, shaking his head as he turned the stove on.

"No, but this time you're not going anywhere without eating."

"Oh, shut up." She laughed as she hopped onto the counter next to him, eyeing the huge penthouse suite that he had to himself.

She looked down at him taking everything out on two plates.

"The food smells and looks amazing."

"Tastes even better," he reassured her, grinning.

He eyed her chest as he noticed the sunlight reflected onto it, making the object shimmer.

"I like what you've done with that." Selena looked down at the key that was around a thin chain on her neck. She shrugged.

"I figured it looked cute and this way I wouldn't forget it."

"Don't take it off," he said as he leaned in, wrapping his arms around her slender waist and kissing her softly.

"Ever," he mumbled against her lips.

"Yeah, yeah. We'll see about that. Now can we eat or should I leave again?"

"Ha-ha, very funny." He said as he pulled away.

"I love you," Selena spoke to him as she blushed a light shade of rose on her cheeks.

Justin turned around to find her cheeks flushed with color. He chuckled as he walked over to her, cupping her face in his arms.

"I still find it cute how you blush every time you say that," he said as he pecked her lips, sending a spark through her body.

They had decided that Nick didn't need to know any of their business. He was out of the picture. As for Dubai, Selena was looking at medical schools she could enroll in over there, otherwise Justin was willing to decline the offer.

Selena found it funny how people slept with each other for temporary pleasure purposes. Neither of them tried to be each other's whole life, but it's ironic how something as simple as temporary bliss could just be true love disguised.Okay, maybe not true love, but it was sure real love. ___________________The end. :)

I just want to say thank you for all of your guy's interest and love for this story I couldn't be happier. Its been a real long time working on this piece and I honestly did not think that any of you would enjoy. 2019 going on to 2020 has been really hectic for me as I'm a senior in high school and I just want to let y'all know how I am extremely grateful for the patience on each update. I just got into my dream school and I'm just glad along with other accomplishments during this first semester. I only have four months left of high school and I honestly just cannot wait to graduate. I am currently working on another piece that is possibly gonna be a Jelena fanfic but I am still deciding. I will let y'all know soon. Thank you for all the love - Lele.
