Chapter 2
"This is my room," Taylor says as we reach her door. I look around her bedroom and smile. It looks nice. The walls and ceiling were a ice blue colour along with the thin curtains covering the large windows.
Her queen size bed is on one side of the room. White comforters and pillows are neatly placed on the bed while her white dresser with ice blue accents take up the wall on the other side. Her 'library' is beside the door. It's about 2.5 meters long and 2 meters deep. Books take up the walls and some floor space and right in the middle of the little area is a black beanbag chair.
Drawings take up some wall place but not like my room where you can barley see the white walls behind all the pictures, drawings, posters and paintings. In front of the bay window a white desk is placed a foot away from the window, facing the outdoors. I walk across the fuzzy ice blue carpet and place my phone down on the desk, moving some of the papers to the side.
"So what do you want to do?" Taylor ask sitting on her bed.
"I have no idea," I reply shuffling over and sitting next to her.
"You want to see Tyler's room?" She glances out the window before turning to look at me.
"Okay."
"Can we watch a movie after?" I ask as we pass the main floor and head to the basement.
"Sure!" Taylor smiles. "What movie?"
"How about The Maze Runner?" I absolutely LOVE the books. I have all of them and I've watched the movies. I cry at one point in every book and the first movie and last movie.
"Tyler are you descent!?" Taylor bangs on her brothers door with her fist, breaking me from my thoughts.
"Descent?" I question slowly raising a brow.
"Yeah. Descent. Tyler tends to hang around the house in just his underwear all day." She turns to look at me, before knocking on door again. All I managed to get out was an 'oh' before Tyler opened his door.
"Of course I'm descent. One, we just got home. Two, Jasmine is sleeping over, so I'm going to be your version of descent for the whole time she is here." Tyler rolls his eyes adjusting the top of his hair.
"How come you decide to keep your shirt and pants on now, huh? How come you don't when it's Mary, Emma or Gabriella?" Taylor says walking into Tyler's room and sitting on the black, blue and white plaid comforter on his bed. The bed was in the middle of the room against the back wall. I follow her in and sit next to her.
"I did the first few times they were here when we got our new rooms, but you guys never came down here because they don't like video games like us three do, so I stoped bothering to keep my shirt and pants on in my own room." He closes the door and walks to the edge of his bed and sits down, picking up his Xbox controller and continuing his game.
I tune out of Taylor and Tyler's little argument and looked around Tyler's new room. The white bedroom door was on the right side of the room in the right corner of the right wall. There are a few superhero posters scattered along the white wallpapered walls. The bed I was sitting on was a queen size bed in a black metal frame. The black pillows neatly placed at the headboard had his sleepwear thrown on them.
Across the bed was a black dresser against the wall to the right. There was a mirror attached to the dresser but the big flatscreen was covering some of it; but not all because the tv was tucked in the corner. Under the tv was a blue Xbox One with a game case beside it.
Above the dresser to the left is a small window covered by black curtains keeping the room pretty dark except for the tv light and the blue lava lamp on the black nightstand on the left side of the bed.
