Justice pov
I woke up tired and laying on the couch. When I looked outside it was still nighttime. One thing was bothering me though, I didn't see Danny anywhere. But I didn't stress about it, she was probably taking a walk or something, who knows? I was going to go back to sleep when I heard someone pounding on the door. I ran faster than lightning to the kitchen. Nope nope nope nope! I'm not dying today! I grabbed a steak knife and held it close to my chest. I heard the door knob shake and the door eventually opened. My breath grew heavy, and my heart was pounding. Then I saw a figure carrying what looked like a g-gun?! I hid beside a wall and waited for them to come through. When the figure was about to pass my hiding spot, I started yelling and pointed the knife at them. "AHHHHHHH-Mmph!" A hand surrounded my mouth stopping me from screaming. It was Brian. "Woah, calm down Justice. It's just me!" Brian whispered. "You. Gave. Me. A. Heart Attack!" I whisper-yelled at him. "Heh, sorry" he smiled sheepishly. I sighed and put the knife back at its place. "Phew. I guess I'm not going back to sleep any time soon!" I whined. "Well since your here, want to come my room and play some video games?" He asked. "Heck yeah!" I yelled. Brian put his hand on my mouth and put his mouth to my ear. "Shhh. Don't wake them up!" He whispered, which sent chills down my spine. I felt a blush form on my cheeks, as he took my hand and dragged me up the stairs. Hope—luckily— was a heavy sleeper. Brian led me to his room, while I jumped and got closer to him at every noise the house made. Brian brought me to his room and we laid on his bed. "How about some Mario Kart?" He asked. "Sure, I can't guarantee your safety though!" I smirked. "I'm sure, I can handle you" Brian teased. We played Mario Kart for what seemed like hours! Which meant about 30 minutes. We were head to head, whoever got first place in this race would win. Just when he and I were about to touch the finish line, the whole room went dark. I moved closer to him, this is how people die in horror movies! "Guess the power went out" he sighed. "And I was just about to beat you at that race" he teased. "You wish!" I replied, sticking my tongue out at him. I did not like this horror movie vibe I'm getting. Brian seemed to sense my discomfort. "Hey, I have an idea. There was a fair that came yesterday! They seemed to have been running the place for a while, but it looks brand new. Want to come see if it's open?" He suggested. "Sure!" I smiled. A fair sounds fun! We made our way to the fair, it was roaring with lights. "Two tickets, please" Brian ordered. I was about to take out some cash, when Brian stopped me. "Hey I'm taking you out, I'll pay" he smiled politely. I blushed, was this a date? We went inside and looked around. "Bottles! Bottles! Knock down all the bottles and get a major price!" A worker yelled. "How you, young couple? Care for a throw?" He asked us. I looked up at the prizes. There was an adorable elephant, I just had to win it! I began taking out my money again, when Brain repeated to stop me. "It's alright, I can cover for you" he grinned. "Are you sure?" I asked, wary. "It's fine" he reassured me, giving the worker the money. "One throw for each of us, please" he asked him. "Here you go!" The man handed us two balls. I looked up at the elephant, "This is for Narnia!" I yelled throwing as hard as I could....I missed completely. I looked down in defeat. "I have failed the kings and queens..." I sighed dramatically. I then started cheering for Brian. "You can do it! I believe in you!" I cheered. Brian gave it his best shot, but also missed. His was way closer than mine, but oh well not everything is movie cliche. I looked down, "It's okay Brian! It's not that cute anyway!" I nudged him. "You know what? I'll throw an extra free throw for the lady!" The man yelled handing Brian a new ball with a wink. It seemed the ball looked different than before, how odd. Brian reeled his arm back and threw the ball at full force. And then....
