Chapter 8

MARCUS' P.O.V.

Earlier I found out the bitch wannabe detective Addison found some of the people I paid for my alibi. Great that bitch is onto me again. I thought she took in that sick puppy dog Nick but apparently she's back onto me. What am I going to do? I don't know.

All this because of a stupid mistake I did when I was drunk. Damn it Maria! This is all her fault. That little slut shouldn't have broke up with me. None of this would have ever happened if it weren't for her. I didn't even mean to kill her but she pissed me off and it just happened. I wanted her to know it's not okay to leave me and that she can't leave me. I am the boss I control her, once she gets with me there is no going back she had to know that but she wouldn't listen.

~Flashback~

I am driving to Maria's brother's house, Daniel I think it was, anyways who cares?

I'm at their house and it seems as if nobody is home until I see her small little frame walk out of the front door. She turns around and the wind blows her dark brown wavy hair in her face. She looks irritated as she pushes her hair behind her ear. When she looks up she sees me and instantly there is fear in her sparkling blue eyes.

She quickly turns around and goes through her front door and slams it before I can stop her.

"Damn it!" I curse under my breath and start pounding on the front door. "Maria! Let me in Maria, we need to talk." I shout loud enough for her to be able to hear me because I know she's still by the door.

"No! There is nothing for us to talk about. We are over and that's that! Leave me alone and never come back." She shouts back at me and I can hear the fear in her voice.

I know the way I started talking wasn't the way to go, so I decide to talk to her more gently, comfortingly. "Baby can we please talk about this. I miss you, I love you, and I never meant to hurt you. I-I j-just got s-so angry. I-I l-lost my temper a-and I'm sorry baby." I add a stutter to get a better effect on her.

Maria is silent for a moment, most likely prossessing my words. Then slowly she opens the door, but not enough to let me in.

Maria opens her mouth to speak but I cut her off by pushing through the door and locking it tight.

Maria's eyes are wide with fear and shock."What are you doing?" She stutters while trying to back away from me but I wouldn't let her.

I push her against a wall and bring my lips to her ear; I can feel her body trembling with fear against mine and I smile."You don't get to leave me. I leave you when I am done with you, and I am not done with Maria. You are still mine wether you like it or not." I press my body closer to hers which is now shaking more violently."You got that baby?" I whisphered sweetly in her ear.

She gulps and tries to calm herself down. Then before I know what's happening she knees me in the croch and makes a run to the door.

While taking deep breaths to try and ignore the pain I completely lose it. I reach into my pocket and grab my black pocket knife.

I run after her and right when the door opens I slam it shut before she can get through. I grab her flawless brown hair and throw her onto the kitchen floor. Maria lets out a scream of pain when I drop down to sit on top of her, practically smashing her.

"You know what the saddest part about this situation is? " I pause to let Maria answer but she just spits in my face. I slap her hard and continue "It would have never happened if you weren't so stupid. If you opened your eyes and stopped trusting people so easily. But instead your my little toy." I laugh and lean down to kiss her. Then Maria bites my lip to the point of splitting it.

I stop and she spits at me again. "Go to hell Marcus." She snapped at me.

Right there I lost it. I opened my black pocket knife and stapped her, four times in the stomach.

Her blood is all over me and Maria is laying on the ground whimpering. I go to the bathroom and wash my hands.

When I come back I see Daniel with Maria's head in his lap.

She whisphers something to him but instead of trying to fingure out what she said, I punch Daniel as hard as I can on the back of his head. His breathing slows and I know he's unconscious.

I walk to Maria and whispher, "You are going to die." Then I point to Daniel and continue "And he is going to go to jail for it, while I walk around and be free. All this is going to be all your fault. Just because you trusted me. But hey you have me a good laugh. Rest in peace Maria, or don't, either way I don't care."

Then I turn around, but before I was fully turned around I saw her body stop moving. She was dead and it was my fault. I'm going to regret this.

~Flashback Over~

I sigh and try to get ahold of the people I paid for my alibi.

DANIEL'S P.O.V.

I was overwhelmed with the news of Marcus' alibi,  but Addison wasn't so I asked her and it all went downhill from there.

"What's wrong? You're acting as if that's not a good thing." I say confused.

"Well I found someone but she is sticking to the alibi. I think he threatened her. She won't tell me anything other than what Marcus claims. I can tell she's lieing though." Addison said sounding exhausted.

Just like that the overwhelming feeling is gone. Addison notices this and comes to me and takes my hand.

I look into her eyes and they sparkle like she is holding back tears herself. She softly says to me "Hey. I can get to her I know I can, It's just going to take alittle time."

"We don't have time . . ." I trail of in a whispher barely audible.

Addison hears me though and shakes her head, almost violently "Yes we do. I will save you." Then she says in a hushed voice "I promise. I can do it just trust me Daniel. "

That brings tears to my eyes and I nod "I trust you Addison. I always have."

Hey guys!

Iknow this is the worst update ever . . . . And its been a really long wait. Im so sorry my faithful readers. School has been pretty overwhelming and I haven't had time and sit down and write.

Well I felt like I needed to givw you guys something so I'm putting this up.
