"Mommy, Mommy, Mommy!" I heard my toddler yell while running into my room.
"Mommy is right here hunny" I said sitting up as Drew jumped on the bed.
"I'm hungry" he said laying next to me.
"Pancakes or Waffles?"
"Chocolate chip pancakes mommy please"
"Okay but you have to pick up your toys on the floor" he nodded and jumped off the bed while I rolled out. We walked down the hall to the living room and he started to pick up his trucks, while I went to go cook the pancakes.
After about 10 minutes they were finished and we sat at the table to eat. I cut up the pancakes and he sat happily while eating them.
There was a knock at the door about halfway through breakfast and Drew ran to go get it.
"Drew wait for mommy" I yelled after him. I opened the door and Kasey was standing with her new born baby girl.
"Ahh give me the little baby" I said rushing her inside. She handed me her daughter and set down all her things.
"How is she?" I asked while sitting down on my couch.
"She is a very very cranky two week old baby but I love her. She is cuddly and loves to sleep with me and Mason"
"I'm happy Drew still wants to sleep with me and cuddle with me" I laughed.
Drew came over to me and Kylie, Kasey's Daughter, and started to touch her head.
"Auntie Kasey, why is mommy holding your baby?"
"Because mommy loves the baby" I said to him.
"Do you love me?" he asked sitting inbetween Kasey and I.
"Of course we do" we said kissing his head. "We love you just as much as we love Baby Kylie and just as much as we love Paisley"
"I love Auntie Hailey and Paisley too mommy" he said. We smiled before there was a bunch of knocking at the door.
Kasey got up and opened the door and in ran Paisley with Hailey trailing close behind. "Good morning" I said to them as Hailey came in out of breath.
"Paisley has never ran this much and I don't know how to keep up"
"Drew went through that stage and you really just try to run with them but trust me I think I lost ten pounds those two weeks" I laughed and she sat down. Drew and Paisley started to play with the toys in the living room and Kasey put Kylie down for a nap.
We sat at my kitchen table and drank coffee.
"So guess who I saw?" Hailey said
"Who?"
"Jake"
"What's be up to?" I asked.
"He was at Jessie's. I stopped by to pick up Paisley after work and he was there. Apparently he is gonna stay there for awhile"
"Well that's surprising, what women is he running from now?" Kasey laughed.
"Who knows" we sipped our coffee.
10:30 rolled around and we had to take the kids to Jessie's for Mothers day. Hailey and Paisley rode with me and Drew, while Kasey and Kylie drove separately. We got to Jessie's in about twenty minutes and both toddlers were fast asleep. When we arrived Jason and Jessie came outside followed by 10 year old Kason and 13 year old Jace. My dad came out soon after to help.
