It was 7:30am. Sara and Felicity have been waiting for Oliver to come around this freaking corner for 15 minutes, with the sign in their hands.

They finally saw him walking in, so as he turned to the direction of his locker, he saw Sara standing right in front of it.

Felicity just had to get out her snapchat camera and put this on her story. It was so exciting. Yeah, she's that friend who just loves love.

"Oliver will you go to homecoming with me?"

Before he could answer, he briefly thought of Felicity. She wasn't thinking of him.

She couldn't possibly be, considering that fact that she was standing behind him with her phone, expecting to video tape a memorable moment between him and her best friend.

"Yes."

Sara and Oliver hugged, but on Oliver's side it didn't feel like a good one.

He was going to have fun with Sara at the dance for sure, but the main reason he said he'd go is because that meant Felicity would be smiling her face off right behind him.

It was almost like he was in a movie that Felicity was directing, and he had to over exaggerate his excitement for the scene.

"Meet me at my house at 6 on the day of the dance, look nice because we're taking pictures. Felicity you're invited too if you don't already have plans."

"Okay, sounds great."

Oliver then walked away from the two girls, as they hurried to Sara's locker so they could put the poster board away before class started.

The end of the day came, Felicity deciding to drive home with Sara in her car. They had some real planning to do as far as dresses, hair, and makeup for the dance.

When Sara turned on the radio, she probably switched channels ten times. There were no good songs on, and it got to the point where she was just clicking really fast.

Felicity only heard 1-2 lyrics of each song that came on.

"Wait, go back..." she told Sara. "I love that song..."

She pushed the button and back to Felicity's favorite song the radio went.

(You can scroll back to the top and play the song now if you want)

Say You Won't Let Go by James Arthur started right from the first verse.

Felicity didn't know why but this song meant something to her.

No, she had never dated anyone before, and she didn't have a crush at the moment, yet this song felt like it was about a certain person.

This person didn't have a face, but he was the tall, handsome man who was the love of her life.

The person who smiled with her, laughed with her, cried with her, cuddled with her, and was always right there by her side for the rest of her life.

One day, she hoped she could feel truly lucky.

Felicity may have always been awkward and never interested in much, but that didn't mean she never wanted to fall in love.

This song was the song in her heart.

Sara was fully concentrated on the road, but she took glances at Felicity every once in a while, who was looking out the window in deep thought.

"Are you sure you don't want to change the song to something we can party to? Something we can sing to even though we both sound like dying cats?"

"I want to keep this on, if you don't mind. I'm just not in the mood."

Because Sara loved her best friend more than anything, the song stayed on.

When you looked over your shoulder
For a minute, I forget that I'm older
I wanna dance with you right now
Oh, and you look as beautiful as ever
And I swear that everyday you'll get better
You make me feel this way somehow

I'm so in love with you
And I hope you know
Darling your love is more than worth its weight in gold

We've come so far my dear
Look how we've grown
And I wanna stay with you until we're grey and old
Just say you won't let go
Just say you won't let go

I wanna live with you
Even when we're ghosts
'Cause you were always there for me when I needed you most

I'm gonna love you till
My lungs give out...

And that's when they pulled up into Sara's driveway.

"Okay Felicity Megan, when we get up to my room can we please play party music?"

"Yes of course, any music you want. We can jam while we figure out what we're going to do with your hair. Oliver always needs to be impressed."

Sara started laughing a little, Felicity starting after her as the two of them walked up to the doorstep, feeling more excited than they have been in a while.

What if I look back on this fanfic when I'm older and regret everything lol

Anyway my goal for this chapter was to really get into Felicity's point of view on love, and I think that was done!

Please leave a vote and some honest comments, it won't take you long ❤️

Thank you guys for continuing to read and I hope you're having an amazing day!
