Lights and Lies 05.

Nelson had felt relieved that Stevie had accepted him for who he is. Nelson went back to his class like nothing crazy just occurred. He sat down and went back to being attentive to his work. He glanced up at Stevie and gave her a sly smile. He felt this was going to be a long period.
LATER ON AT STUDY HALL
Nelson and the group were getting ready for there performance tonight for the Spring Formal Dance they were practicing in the band room. Nelson was working on getting his notes making sure they were right. Zander wanted to do vocals with Kacy. They have three songs for the dance they want to make sure it was absolutely close to perfect. Then he saw Kevin making beats he looked pretty sexy trying to focus that's what at least Nelson thought. Then Kevin called over Nelson to help him. "Yo Nelson can you help me with this one beat you are pretty smart after all." This made Nelsons afternoon his crush just said he's really smart. Nelson couldn't stop blushing. " You just have to reset it that's all then you should be good to go". Thank you Nelson this is why we're best friends" Nelson got a little sad he knows he wants to be more than that but he keeps quiet for now. Kacy saw them together laughing and playing together she immediately wanted to break them up so she purposely called Kevin  so she can get under Nelson's  skin just enough for Nelson to notice but not Kevin. " Kevin babe can you come over tonight we can have matching outfits for the spring formal I'm thinking a blue bow tie matching with my baby blue dress what to you say " Nelson was obviously angry about this but wanted to hide his burning jealousy and then warmth on his face." I'm sorry Kacy but me and Kevin were suppose to match for the best friend of the year award did you forget Kevin". Nelson  looked with begging eyes. Kevin politely told Kacy "I'm sorry maybe The summer fling we can match in twin bathing suits. I can't let down my best friend he obviously was looking forward to this." Nelson couldn't help but blush profusely and he felt proud. Unlike Kacy who voluntarily rolled her eyes with annoyance she stomped off. " Maybe she's in love with you man why else would she get so mad." Zander pointed out. Nelson couldn't help but think he's the one who should be mad he was in love with his best friend. They all finished practice went on to their classes for the rest of the day except Stevie who went home early to buy a suit. Wanting to break the traditional rules for Spring Formal
         Later at Kevin's House.....,,,,
       Kevin had invited Nelson over to get ready with him for the Spring Formal  plus is mother wanted to take pictures of them. To put in her memories for Kevin she'd been keeping these since he was five years old when him and Nelson first met. They were upstairs giggling and reminiscing about them past. Kevin had went in his bedrooms bathroom and had taken a shower and to Nelson's surprise Kevin was naked in front of him as hard as Nelson tried not to look he found himself staring at lower part of his pelvic area. Very flustered. "See something you like Nelson?" " uh no of course noo I was looking at the floor" Nelson looked very embarrassed breaking out in a sweat over a playful joke Kevin made. They got dressed and left with the group in a party bus. Having a blast until they arrived at there location at 7:30 pm.
At the Dance.......
  People loved Gravity 5s Performance it was the best so far they raised so much money for charity and had fun doing it. Kevin and Nelson were so into it smiling at each other and connecting to the music. Kacy wasn't having it anymore after Kevin invited him to the after party she called Nelson over and pulled him to the side. " Look here Nelson stop trying to act all innocent I know your little secret" Nelson heart dropped out of his chest he was filled with panic"What secret I don't have anything to hide I'm perfectly myself and weird all the time. " don't play dumb Nelson I know your gay I heard the talk with you and Stevie I even recorded it. She pulled out her phone with the recording proving that he was gay. He knew he didn't want to come out yet not to him furthermore the whole school with a click of a button. At this point his whole night was ruined Nelson's  anxiety was at its peak. " This all can be avoided Nelson just stay away from Kevin and let me have him I'll make you date one of my friends who likes you her names Cherry ask her out and your secret won't be spilled. Stay away from my man ok. Have a good night NELSON! " Nelson was frozen with fear he could not go to the after party it would look suspicious so he went into the Party  with a fake smile and happiness
