Cold Blood 06.

  Hey everyone welcome back to Mask this isn't chapter 7 it's still part 6 it was just a announcement. Enough of me rambling let's get into it.

     Nelson wakes up the next morning cold but hot with anger sadness with a mixture of feeling hopeless in his blood. He slumps out of bed with the everlasting memory of last nights traumatic events. What was suppose to be a good high school memory turned into a blackmail by the most pretty popular Kacy Simon. Nelson went downstairs it's about 7 am in the morning before school starts. He greets his mother and she greeted  him with a warm hello"Hey sweet heart good morning I didn't get to see your performance yesterday because I had to take care of your father but tell me how was it because we all know my smart little boy is talented and has the best family name." Nelson almost felt happy but he came to the realization that he wasn't happy he  was scared and alone. His alcoholic father wasn't going to give him advice about his problem the only thing he got from his father was his own alcohol problem. All these thoughts in Nelsons head....yet the only thing he could choke out is "The Spring fling it was ok nothing much you were missing" Nelson lies to himself all the time he's use to it. It's like he's the main star in his own play at life. Nelson sits down and eats his breakfast his mother made she left the kitchen he finished eating and puts on his converse jeans and a worn out burgundy sweatshirt he was never really big on shopping for the latest trends. Even if his parents where filthy rich. He gets on the bus puts his headphones in and suddenly his heart drops but melts at the same time. Kevin had just texted him. Kevin:Hey Nelson what happened last night you disappeared when the after party just started it had a cheese fountain and everything!
Nelson: I was feeling sick so I went home sorry.
Kevin: It was not as fun without my best friend there I'll make it up to you  I will come after school and bring you a Arizona Ice tea I feel so bad you missed it. See you.
Nelson: It's ok you don't have to but sure I guess.
      Nelson was blushing so hard at the text message he couldn't even believe he wanted to buy him a drink and spend so much time with him yet again he is his best friend or always be his best friend. Nelson thought apathetically. Nelson went to school and saw Stevie with Kacy talking he felt disgusted how Stevie could even be friends with her. He couldn't really blame her she doesn't know Kacy is black mailing him. Nelson just ignored the crap out of Kacy  and just said Hey to Stevie it turns out everybody knows Nelson "dating"Cherry. Kacy said with a malicious grin  on her face.  " Omg Nelson and Cherry started dating during the spring fling it was so cute I officially posted it on my instagram so it's obviously true. There so cute together matter of fact here comes Cherry.Stevie was dumbfounded she knew something was off about this whole thing. Nelson baby how are you. "You totally have to walk me to class. Kacy already told me you always liked me so I automatically said yes because your like so cute." She said all of this while skipping to Nelson. Cherry talked so fast you could barely make out anything this girl was saying. Cherry was the type of girl popular guys adored in high school tan skin green eyes red hair extensions so long it would hang low to her butt. She was extremely plastic and dumb but she was pretty. Don't forget to mention not Nelsons Type AT ALL. Nelson just nodded at her remarks knowing this poor girl has to be apart of his shit show he calls life. He hated having to be with her because of Kacy he really did. So he made of a excuse to leave without Cherry. " I'm so sorry baby but me and Stevie have to get to class it's on the third floor see you at art Cherry" He plastered a fake smile and grabbed Stevie and walked away in a hurry into a secluded corner of the school were nobody enters. He glanced back at Kacy before he quickly ran off and looked at Kacy's  facial expressions she knew exactly what she was doing to him. Stevie was utterly confused she had so many questions. "Why is Kacy saying you're dating Cherry. Why are you lying to yourself Nelson. I thought me and you have a closer bound knowing your situation. You know you don't like her even if you were straight I still know you wouldn't go for Red Head Barbie.Nelson explained with angry.!Don't you get it....Kacy likes him She knows I like him she's going out of her way to ruin my life. She makes me feel sad worthless and it's starting to affect meI don't want to be forced to come out. It's baby steps for me. I don't want to lose my best friend because I can't help my disgusting feeling for another boy." Stevie was quiet she understood. "Nelson I get it for me being the tough one the one that takes all the punches it gets difficult because I want to be the weak one sometimes growing up in a family with only guys being weak was a disadvantage I always had to prove myself as a girl I never want people to know I feel emotional pain so I Mask it. I'd talk to Kacy and ask her why she's bullying you for her own personal satisfaction but knowing how your feeling right now isn't going to work. We can try to let Cherry down easy.We could come up with a plan for Cherry to break up with you I'm down if you're down."This made Nelson feel so much better it's like Stevie understood him the most other than Kevin of course. They hugged it out and went on with their day. Everyday was kind of the same for Nelson Practice after school test quizzes talk to other geeks in math and shout out answers. Tutor Zander on Thursdays for geometry his schedule was always the same usually when it came to school work but social was on a whole different ball game.
After School at Nelsons House......
      Nelson wore something more formal he wanted his afternoon with Kevin to go perfect. He led Kevin upstairs to his room so they can just hang out and chill."We could do homework or watch a movie play video games your choice Kevin."
Kevin smiled and said "let's talk about this new girlfriend of yours.I didn't know you blew me of so you can hang out with this new girl I never heard you talk about her If I knew that I'd give you some tips. Nelson hesitated" I'm not really into her that much" Only if Kevin knew the only person he wanted was Kevin Reed to be his boyfriend. "Oh I get it smash then dash wink*" Kevin laughed. Nelson said nervously "I don't really know how to do that you've have more experience with girls then me you dated Molly and Grace. That's impressive." Kevin had a idea for Nelson. He grabbed Nelson by the waist making him surprised making his heart beat a thousand miles a minute. " Nelson pretend your Cherry and I am you. The first thing you do is get her around your waist making sure you have a good grip on her to show her your dominance and then you whisper in her ear what you're going to do to her." This made Nelson feel hot bothered he almost couldn't make out words to say anything to Kevin. Kevin grabbed his butt playfully throwing Nelsons tiny body on the floor sitting on him and laughing. "Make sure you do all these steps your guaranteed to get laid I think" Kevin laughed. Nelson enjoyed these little moments with Kevin. Which made it uncomfortable because he got a boner at the worst time so he quickly went to the bathroom before Kevin noticed. " I'm sorry I need to pa pa pee...." " Well bye Nelson my mom texted me I have to go home early I'll come back if I can. Kacy wants me to help her for her project for guitar skills for some reason she calls at the worst moments. Nelson was sad knowing he had to leave just so he can see Kacy he always forgets Kevin likes Kacy he tries not to think about the reality and remanence about all the good times they had together.
