Chapter 24 - This is our Fight (Part 3/5)

Front Line Squad - Kurro's POV

"Let's go!" I shout, indicating the rest of the teams to make their way over to the front gate with us. My group head in first, obviously I take the lead and am first to enter the building. Daichi, Asahi, Bokuto, Oikawa and Iwaizumi not far behind, keeping a look out for any enemies. We creep through the front door and into a long looming hallway, there isn't a door in sight for a long stretch and it's dead silent in all directions, even the ruckus coming from the campfire had now died down and all that could be heard was the crack of the flames and the wind behind us. "Tsukishima, where's the closest door?" I ask and wait for a response.

"Down that hallway and to the right, that'll lead you into the dorm area. Be careful, looks like there's a lot of people in there." Tsukishima comes through the walkie talkie from outside the building.

"Alright, we're making our way there, keep an eye on the security cameras and let us know if you see anything." I ask and continue forward. We come to the door without being disturbed and I put my ear against the door and listen to out for any noises coming from inside. "That's weird..." I mumble to myself. I open the door and the room is pitch black, not a single noise coming from inside, that is...until we hear the high pitched squeaking coming from inside.

"What's that noise?" Bokuto asks. We listen closer and soon after the squeaking follows a light rattle.

"It's a turret! Move!" Oikawa shouts, pushing some people and grabbing Iwaizumi and pushing them to the ground just in time before the turret lets loose, shooting hundreds of bullets out the door, hitting the wall parallel leaving harsh dents.

"What the hell!?" Iwaizumi says. "Did they know we were coming?"

"I doubt it, it's probably a trap..." I say, getting back on my feet and brushing off the dust. "Good call Oikawa, I owe you. Tsukishima?" I say.

"Yes Kurro?" Tsukishima replies.

"Disable the turret and any others you've mapped in on the servers." I say. Once we hear the click coming from inside the room we know it's safe to move. We gather ourselves up and keep walking. "Guys, just be careful, it's likely they'll have more traps than that further into the building. Sugawara, take your group and explore this floor and this floor only, don't go inside any rooms your're not sure about and if you need help call us straight away."

"Got it, come on guys" Sugawara says, heading the other direction with his group and out of sight. I pull the picture I was given of Kageyama and study it closely.

"We should look on the next floor, we don't know where these freaks are so just keep watch." I say. We walk on and find an elevator shaft, it looks like there are more floors than we thought and this elevator definitely hasn't been running for years. "Let's get to the second floor, watch your backs."

Sniper - Akashi POV

After Kuroo and his group cleared a path to the roof I got up here as fast as I could and laid my gun out. I have a perfect view if the courtyard and can see everything, but i almost wish i didn't see it. Now I know why they were cheering so much, strapped the fire is a body of a young female it looks like. Her body is burnt to crisp and long dead. Now no one remained in the yard, but it didn't stay that way for long. The doors opened and out walked about 20 troops. Loading guns and getting prepared to fight, not long after walked out an oh so familiar face. Ushijima walked out with pride and stood in front of the troops.

"We have intruders in the building, we all know exactly who it is and I'm almost laughing at how pathetic they look, take them out and we'll feed them to the dead ones. In fact, keep a few alive and they can join Kageyama." He smirked. The soldiers nodded and marched out of the courtyard in sync. I knew I had the opportunity to shoot Usijima right now, right here. But I felt as though he knew I was here, something was keeping me from pulling the trigger. I knew I had to warn Kurro and the rest, but I was scared to move. The walkie talkie lay next to me, I knew all I had to do was pick it up and speak into it, but my heart stopped when Ushijima turned in my direction and stared right at me. I freak out and grab the walkie talkie and slide back on the roof so I can no longer see him. I hold the walkie talkie close to my mouth and hold down the button as tight as I can.

"Kurro? Kurro!" I whisper shout.

Soon a reply comes through as a very panicked Bokuto. "Akashi?! What's wrong!?" Bokuto says.

"T-they know we're here, he knows where I am. I have to move, they've got 20 troops heading your way!" I shout and stuff the walkie talkie in my back pocket and gather up my gun and start running across the roof in panic.

If he finds me, i'm dead.

Defence Squad - Hinata's POV

We walk in circles around this huge iron castle. We haven't seen or heard anything leading to Kageyama or anyone in fact. We've found a few rooms but nothing special in them, mostly storage room, but out of sheer luck, we run into a large circular iron door that's three times taller than us, it looks as though it leads to a very large, big important room. We finally get hope as Sugawara approaches the door.

"Hey, waiting Suga." Noya says from the back of the crowd and makes his way to the front. "Something doesn't feel right here."

"Noya-senpai! This is the only thing we've seen in this pit and you're telling us not to go in?" I whine.

"Well, I mean, it's just a gut feeling." He says.

"Don't worry guys, I wont let anything happen to any of you okay?" Sugawara says as he presses the large red button on the front of the door to open it. We hear three beeps and the door slowly opens, it's what feels like a very large room but it's pitch black and you can't see a thing the whole way through.

"There has to be some lights somewhere..." Sugawara says as he walks through. We follow behind and soon enough we're all in the deathly silent room. We're so busy looking around us looking for a light switch we don't even realise the thick heavy doors closing behind us. But when we heard the loud thud we know exactly what's happened. We're locked inside.

"Aww shit..." Tanaka says.

"Told you..." Noya says.

Suddenly, large bright white lights flash on and half blind us all. Now we can see the full room, we see things, hinting us at what this room has in store for us.

"Oh No." Sugawara says.

"Suga watch out!"
