My face felt stiff, the cold breeze numbed my nose and fingers. The snow crunched loudly underneath my boots. Living here for a few years I'm somewhat used to the cold, still the breeze would send shivers down my spine.
Unclamping the lock keeping the low black gate secured, my fingers were too numb to feel the cold metal.
"I haven't done this for years!"
"I can tell, try not to fall out the car."
"Oh shut it." She screamed with so much joy and excitement I couldn't help but laugh along. The crisp cold air sent her hair spiraling in different directions. Still she stood on the car seat, her upper part of her body outside the window on the car's rooftop-
The fence squeaked open, walking through the snow I memorized the way. Passing many stones with snow sitting at the top. My teeth clattered uncontrollably, licking my dry lips I kept on walking.

I stood on the leather car seat, half of my body sticking out of the rooftop. The crisp air felt cool against my skin. Letting out a laugh and a scream of joy I held my hands up letting myself taste freedom.
"Why have I never done this?!"
"I told you! It feels nice doesn't it?!"
It did, I felt free. My worries flew out the window. I wasn't stressing over anything, I was enjoying the night. I wasn't alone for once, I was with someone.
"I haven't been on a night ride with someone for years! It feels nice." I could imagine her smiling.
"Neither have I, this is my first time with someone." It felt amazing.
"Dandelion!" I shouted over the air.
"What?!"
"I'm never letting you go now."
Smiling bitterly I crouched down, setting the small bundle of dandelions in front of her. Who would have thought a simple flower would hold so much meaning?
"My sweet Dandelion.."
If only I wasn't so stubborn. My hands rested on the-
