Just staring At Something I Deeply Wanted To Go Right

*beep *beep*
My eyes opened slowly. Blinking still half asleep I looked over and read my clock.
"Oh sh!t" I said jumping out of bed feeling a head rush coming.
" what's all that noise" jake said in a sleepy tone.
"It's 12:00, I have to be in town by 12:40 to help fix up the deck I was working on for ms.mary"
During the summer I was working on ms.marys deck for extra cash well I looked for a job. I was just fixing up the last little bit before I was done.
"Do you mind if I take the truck"
"Go ahead I'll get Caleb to pick me up"
"Thanks" I said slipping on a shirt and putting my shoes on. I grabbed the keys and off I went. The long drive back seemed to be taking ages.
Finally I arrived in the Mary's driveway.
"There you are"
"I'm so sorry ms.mary, I slept in cause my alarm didn't go off but I'll be finished in about half an hour"
"Okay well I'm going to town I'll see you when I get back"
"Okay I'll see u then"
As she got in her car and drove down the road I turned and headed off to work. It was 31°c outside today and I worked up a sweat easly .
Finallyi finished sanding off the deck and started to pack my things into the back of the truck.
"it looks good" ms. Mary said handing me two hundred dollars.
" thank you" I said "I have to leave early I have a job interview soon"
" okay well I'll see you later" she said with a smile as I made my way to my car.
Next up was my interview. It was 5:30 bye the time I got to town so I desired to get a quick shower at home before I headed in. As I turned off the truck engine and made my way inside I realized no one was home. Which was normal mom was usually as work till seven and Jake was probably with Mark and Caleb. I turned the nosel to the nice white shower we had the warm water felt good on my back. I got out and grabbed my towel after what seemed to be a good half hour. I walked to my room and grabbed some of my nice close and put them on.
*Oh shit* I thought to my self as I looked down and seen the time was already seven. I grabbed my boots and pulled them on. Desiding I should eat before I go I went to Mike's dive in and got a meal. The meal was a hamburger which were real meat so it was good. Fries and a drink of Pepsi. I sat there for a while eating until it was seven forty. My interveiw started at ten after eight so I thought I'd em head in now. I pulled up to where my interview was taking place and sat there just staring at something I deeply wanted to go right.
