Ticci Toby and The Wolf

First Day of School

It's been two years since Ticci Toby met Skay. She was a bit older now but she still didn't know how not to change into a wolf sometimes. Slender had ordered Toby to get Skay in school since she was older.

"Skay come out under the bed, now." Toby said sternly. "School is fun!"

"No it's not!" Skay refused to come out.

Toby sighed, she was right. "Orders are orders Skay, and you know that."

"But I wanna stay here with you!" Skay whined.

"Sally will come with you!" Toby said knowing the two girls were best friends.

"Really?" Skay poked her furry head out.

"Yeah and she'll be in your class, also there's a playground where you can run and play tag." Toby hoped that'll make her come out.

Skay ran out from under the bed and got on all fours. She barked with glee.

"But of course you have to stay a human."

Skay sighed and nodded. "Okay fine." She turned human and rummage through her clothes. She picked out a white dress and her favorite blue shoes. Skay put her clothes on and started brushing her black hair. Skay smiled brightly at Toby then grabbed his hand. "Let's eat breakfast!!"

They two ran downstairs to where Slender man was cooking waffles. Skay and Toby bounced up and down. "WAFFLES!" They both shouted. Slender put a plate of waffles in front of them.

Skay gobbled down the waffles and drank her juice. The wolf child grabbed her purple backpack and went to Toby's side.

"I'm ready for school!!" She chirped happily.

"OK here's your lunch." Jane gave Skay a lunch box with a wolf on it. "There's a sandwich, some blood that looks like punch, a small bag of chips, a red apple, some meat, and one of Pinkamena's pony cupcake."

"Ooh I love her cupcakes!" Sally grabbed her own lunch box.

"Me too." Skay agreed.

"So Masky, you drive the girls to school, OK?" Slender then added. "That's an order."

"I'll come too!" Toby volunteered and before waiting for Slender man to reply he got in the car. "Come on guys!"

Masky drove the girls to school. Sally immediately jumped off the car but Skay looked uncomfortable.

"Toby I'm scared, what if I turn to a..." She lowered her voice to a whisper. "Wolf?"

"Don't worry just calm down and you'll be fine." Toby reassured her.

Skay calmed down a bit but still looked scared. Skay and Sally walked into the building and the car drove off. Skay and Sally were in 3rd grade so it was upstairs. Sally had no problem making friends but Skay didn't really like to be social around people she didn't know. Especially humans. The teacher named Mr. Kales was nice at least. He taught them how to subtract and add.

"Now we know how to add and subtract.." Mr. Kales wrote a number problem on the board. "What's 6 plus 5?"

Skay raised her hand eagerly like the other kids. Mr. Kales called on Kim.

"It's 12!" Kim shouted but Mr. Kales shook his head and called on James.

"Um...it's 11!" He shouted and got it right.

"Good now go outside for recess." Mr. Kales clapped his hands.

Skay was so excited she almost turned into a wolf until she remembered not to. She sighed, it was hard for her but she knew she'll manage.

At recess the fifth graders were having a race. Skay loved races and asked to join.

"A little kid? Phht yeah right!" A fifth grader named Ken scoffed. "You'll collapse on the first round!"

"No I won't I'm really fast!" Skay shouted bravely. "Your just scared to lose to a third grader!"

Ken glared at her. "Fine, me and you will race then."

They both got to the edge of the start line and Sally said "Ready. Set. Go!"

Ken ran in front of Skay. Skay tried all her might not to turn wolf and run. She ran on two legs instead. Her lungs screamed for air but she ignored it. Skay sped in front of Ken with a mocking smile.

"I won't loose to a baby!" He grit his teeth and kicked a rock in front of her.

Skay tripped and fell. Without crying she got up and started running, full speed. Blood gushed from her leg making it harder not to turn wolf. She easily caught up to Ken thanks to her wolf speed. Skay wasn't gonna let that cheating jerk win.

She felt like she just had to win. Skay turned half wolf (wolf ears and tail but with a human body and more speed.) and she ran in front of Ken. She leaped across the finish line and immediately turned human.

She was panting and scared. Did anyone see her form? Everyone didn't notice and they just came to congratulate her. She glanced at Ken who was furious. Skay smiled at the crowd of people gathering around her. She squeezed out and went to Sally. Sally grabbed her hand and looked worried.

"Skay I saw you turn!" Sally said. "What were you thinking! What if someone saw? What would Toby say!?" Sally scolded her.

"I can't control it Sally." Skay had tears coming down her face. "I don't know what to do and how to act like a human."

"It's easy ju-"

"No Sally I'm not a human, I was born a wolf so I am a wolf." Skay looked at Sally. "I can't go to school anymore, if I can't control it then I can't come."

Sally was shocked but felt sympathy for her friend. "Then.. then I won't come either!"

"Sally you know how to act properly, you should still go." Skay smiled sadly.

"No Skay your basically my sister!" Sally argued. "I'll help you learn OK? I will help you!"

"Really Sally? Then I have a lot to learn."

"Of course Skay, I'll never leave you to do it alone."

"Thanks Sally!" Skay hugged her.

"Now let's go to lunch! I can't wait to eat Pinkamena's cupcake!"

The two girls headed to lunch with the rest of the kids.
