"It's been two days, Yeol..." Sehun told the person on the other line. He was walking pointlessly round his room trying to explain the point of discussion to his friend.
"Then should you bring her to the hospital? Someone must have been looking for her..." the person in the other line told him. Sehun looked at the girl lying comfortably on his bed.
"I don't know. Something's telling me she should stay here..." he absentmindedly blurted out which he earned a scoff from Chanyeol.
"Come on, you don't even know her. What would you even do to a girl who just fainted in the middle of the road on a hard pouring rain?"
"I'll just...wait for her to wake up."
"Yah! Oh Sehu—!"
He didn't even let the guy rant and just ended the call. He sat on the edge of the bed, watching the girl's slow but deep breathing while asleep. He traced his eyes on the bruises on her arms, some on her feet and on her face, which he asked his help to tend. That's when he focused his sight—to the pristine angelic face of the girl. He found himself staring at her for a minute before noticing her finger lift.
The center of her forehead creased as she slowly opened her eyes and perceived the blurred image of a man looking at her. She held her through the sudden feeling of unsteadiness.
"Where...am I?" She asked.
"You're in my house." Sehun grabbed the pitcher and poured some generous amount of water on a tall glass and gave it to the girl. She looked a bit startled at the sudden hospitality of the man in front of her. She wasn't used to this.
"I'm Sehun. Here, have a drink. I bet you're parched from sleeping for days..." he explained. "...as you can see, you fainted in the middle of the road and I saw you on my way home." She pushed herself up to a sitting position and took the glass gently and sipped some. She smiled. "Thank you."
"You should probably eat. I think you're starving. Can you stand?" He asked her. She nodded and helped herself to stand. Sehun assisted her until they set their feet in the dining area. He asked the help of the house to prepare dinner for the unwanted guest. Most of the time spent while waiting for the food, went to some queries about the girl, which he learned was named Irene. Sometimes she'll be silent but when the moment is good, and that she can relate, she warmly responds. But the questions about herself remained intact.

The next day, Sehun woke up, doing the usual routine: dressing nice clothes, putting on a branded watch and perfume and quickly walked his way downstairs. But for some reason, the thought that he has someone other than his old maid in his mansion, brought his feet in front of the guest's room and check if she's up for breakfast. He knocked, but she did not respond. He held the knob and turned it to open the door slightly, and peek in and he saw her still sleeping, to his disappointment.
"Sir,"
He hold on to his chest at the sudden appearance of his maid behind him. The cold-stare of the old woman didn't help at all.
"What?"
"Breakfast is served."
"Okay." He sighed when the old woman went downstairs. He grabbed his phone from his pocket and dialed Chanyeol's number. It was after two rings when Chanyeol answered him with a quick, "What?" on a sluggish tone.
"She's awake, I had dinner with her last night. I think I can assist her to you later." Sehun said straight to the point.
"How is she?" Sehun raised a brow. "What do you mean?"
"I mean, in a man's vocabulary... how is she?" Sehun stifled a laugh. "Do you really want me to answer that?"
"I'm serious, man."
"Well... she's bewitching."
