"Boss, we're heading over there for a visit. It's been ages, let's have fun. It seems like you're hollowed over last night's work and I don't like it. You were like 'that' again... anyway, I'll call again when we're there. See ya." Krystal's voice from the automatic voicemail resonated Sehun's quiet room.

His room? Oh, right. Ever since the commotion the other night, he didn't meet Irene. He stayed in Seulgi's former room until dawn, looking spaced-out gazing at the room's wide window. He wasn't able to sleep normally... like he always do. But this time, a lot of thoughts bothered him until he realized his attacks were relapsing once again.

Seeing Seulgi that day, and then seeing Irene discovering her remains were like crushing him somewhere deep inside him.

He sat up from his bed and clutched his head. It's aching so bad that Advil can't keep up. He was done tidying himself up just in time the old care taker knocked at his door.

"Young master, Ms. Jung and Mr. Kim is here. I invited them to join our breakfast. They're waiting for you." halmoni said.

"Alright. I'll be right there... and, um..." he faltered.

"If you are worried about Ms. Irene, she's fine. She stayed still in her room after what happened." she said. Sehun was not sure how he felt after hearing that. He can't stay mad at her forever for stepping inside his ex's room.

Not long enough he strode to the dining area to join his friends. Krystal was happily chewing her garlic toast while Kai helped himself with a coffee. They greeted him with insults which was a great thing to start his day.

On the other hand Irene, for the first time in a while, went out her room. She thought about going to the treehouse on the oak tree, for some reason she felt it'd be better for her to stay there. Away from Sehun's sight.

She felt bad for trespassing in that room.

She carefully went down the spiral stairs heading to the living room. Her eyes landed on a certain figure near the entrance towards the dining area. She stared at the man, which she thought probably the one named Kai and a beautiful lady beside him.

Kai sensed someone's staring at him and looked towards the stair case at the living room, but to his disappointment no one was there. He must be imagining things, but his senses weren't lying.

"Hey Sehun, did you hire anyone new in the house?" Kai asked him.

"None that I remember..." He responded. "... except for Irene." he added.

Sehun wasn't sure what to say. Irene was a random person he helped out of nowhere. He let her stay in the mansion with no particular reason, so how would he be able to explain that to Krystal. Not the that that's okay with Kai, but his reactions and decisions were mostly depending on Krystal.

Kai and Krystal looked at each other then back to Sehun.

"Irene?" Krystal arched a brow in confusion.

"Well, yeah.... he sort of adopted—oomf!" Kai was about to tell his girlfriend everything when Sehun stuffed a huge garlic bread in his mouth.

"New maid, something like that..." Sehun told her and she just looked at his friend's lying face.

Krystal leaned a bit closer to Kai and whispered something. She looked at Kai first with a bewildered look on his face then seriously stared at Sehun with suspicion.

"I'll... excuse myself. I need to use the toilet." Krystal said, placing her table napkin and purse aside and headed outside.
