A week passed since Sehun decided to let her stay. A week of pure serenity free from troubles. However it can never be denied that sometimes she feels lonely by herself. She misses her mother most at times like this.
Throughout the week, Sehun had instructed her which part of the manor she only can go to. The library at the second floor, the kitchen, if ever she's starving and the garden if she wants to stroll around and of course, to her own room. The mansion itself is huge, but she could feel the emptiness.
Nonetheless, she agreed with Sehun's conditions. But if there's a problem she should be dealing with right now, is her own benightedness.
The first thing her mother taught her was safety and not formal education. She never imagined she would be dealing with this kind of life, and the thought of the need to learn something. How could she enjoy the library, when her comprehension is only at basic level?
This is when she realized that this is what it means to survive in the city.
She was standing in between the way to the living room and the stairs, the old care taker noticed Irene's wondering expression and was quick to approach her.
"May I help you, miss?" The old care taker sweetly asked her. She was smiling, to Irene's surprise.
"Uh, yes. Which is the way to the...umm, ga...gar..."
The old lady seem to discern her difficulty. "Garden, miss? I will accompany you there." The old lady said, presenting a leading hand. "Right this way."
Irene smiled and nodded, "Thank you."
At the very end of the way into the back of the house appeared a vast millieu of the garden, she couldn't believe it. There was a small fountain at the center of a huge Glengarry bush maze. At its entrance is an invory arc with wild vines and on both sides of the whole garden were huge bushes of roses.
"It's beautiful." Irene was genuinely happy with seeing such beautiful place.
"At the far corner, miss, there is a huge tree of Oak. You could rest there. It has a huge treehouse on the top." The old lady told her and that even boosted her excitement.
"Really?" She excitedly asked her old lady, the other just nodded smiling at Irene's innocence.

Krystal's delicate fingers impatiently tapped the table, her left ear on the phone and her dominant hand writing on the papers.
"Yes, I will inform the boss immediately. I will be sure to give you a feedback right away. Thank you, Sir." She dropped the phone. It was the ninth wit-taking call of the day. She wrote something on one of her colorful sticky notes and placed it on top of a profiler folder. She stood up and went immediately to the boss' domain.
Sehun was greeted by Krystal's blank facial expression.
"Hey, what have you been doing all this time? The investors were furious about your sudden AWOL. My patience's is about to run out." She told him, a hand on her waist, the other holding the folder.
"Sorry Krys, I've been very busy lately..."
"Explains your recent absences and early leaves." She remarked and threw the also ninth folder she delivered after each call.
"I'll make it up to you..." he's charming her off again. For fuck's sake, they appear to be on a lover's quarrel, but they're no more than friends.
"Stop doing that. I'll ask Kai to bite you some time to get you back to your senses." She frustratingly rolled her eyes. "It's so frustrating to be human sometimes."
