Two days ago...
She didn't know where to go. She was running aimlessly through the woods for minutes—hours maybe, and her feet couldn't take it anymore. She needed to find an escape route. She was breathing heavily, her chest pounding erratically, adrenaline rushing. She ran in zigzags, avoiding each tree so she wouldn't collide herself with them. But she's not a fast runner at all.
"Irene! Comeback here!"
She heard the voice of her uncle and some people with him, the people who're chasing her, alarming her senses indicating that she should do better in running.
Seeing a safe spot near the bushes, she hided herself in it and rested her back on the tree's trunk and calm herself. She looked around, sensing if there are still people nearby, her heart never stop pounding nervously. She heard footsteps at close proximity but after a few moments it went away. She sighed like a huge thorn was released in her.
With a little more effort, she forced herself to stand up and looked for another way to exit the woods. When she did, saw an asphalt road as drops of rain eventually began to pour heavily. The road was empty and a few cars and trucks only would go that way since it's a road few kilometers away from the city.
She could hear herself panting; she was indeed bleary until she fainted.

"Yeah, I'll be there tomorrow." Sehun concluded before ending the call from his friend Kai. Swiping the 'end call' then returning his eyes on the road. The rain is pouring really heavy that the swipers of his car should work at a double speed, he thought. He accelerated the speed of his car, comfortably driving the road.
Sehun preferred taking the solidarity route than the highway itself to avoid being stuck to traffic. To him it was like taking an adventure, taking the road as if it was his, he wished. He could speed up whenever he wants and arrive on time, sometimes earlier than expected. But he was surprised at the sudden sight of a woman lying on the ground, thus, making him halt his car by stepping on the brakes. He cursed for the fact that he didn't wear his seatbelt properly and ended up hitting his head a bit harshly on the stirring wheel.
"Shit—what the actual fuck?" He said as he stepped outside, not minding soaking himself in the rain and attended the girl. He kneeled and pulled the girl slightly.
"Miss..." he shook her a bit, but still she's unconscious. He noted the fact that she has bruises all over her. He checked her pulse, good, she's alive, he thought. Sehun carried the girl and put her on the back seat, went back inside and drove her to his home.
Upon his arrival, some maids quickly brought him an umbrella and some helped him with assisting the unexpected guest to his bedroom. He didn't even think about why, in all of the spaces inside his lone, cold mansion, he decided to bring her in his own room. The irony was there, and most probably if his mother was still there, she would nag him for bringing lass inside his bedroom. It was a humorless joke indeed.
He asked his old help to tend the girl's wound and make her some food whenever she opens her eyes. But waiting for her to be conscious actually took days in which frustrated him.

Present day...
Irene woke up, her head aching. She held her forehead with her soft bruised hands and looked around, only to find she wasn't in the same room anymore. It was clean, the bed as comfortable, as she noticed.
"Good morning, young lady." The old help of the mansion greeted her. She was surprised to see another person other than her aunt and uncle to greet her in morning, usually a 'not good' morning atmosphere. This must be a dream.
